Evidence? You can open the internet and see for yourself 😂
I have the yak-141. It’s an ok plane because of its BR that more frequently lets you club premium noobs that don’t know how to fly, but it has an identity crisis due to its armament. It is terrible at BVR because it simply lacks the missile supply to seriously compete in BVR duels that involve both parties taking defensive measures against long range launches while they jockey for position. It only carries the TWO 27ERs. The 27ER would be great for BVR IF it carried american quantities of them.
The 141’s RWR is worse than the F-14A’s RWR. The 14A’s RWR may not be able to fingerprint everything but it at least tells you precisely where the missile is coming from so that you can precisely notch. SPO-15 gives you no information about the enemy plane and it only tells you the direction of the enemy attack down to the precision of a few big pie slices.
Compared to russia’s other planes, the 141’s flight model is the best for dogfighting. Especially if you master VTOL tricks. However the 141 is held back at close ranges due to an absence of missiles that perform well at close ranges. R-27’s are terrible at dogfight ranges, and the R60M is obsolete at this BR. The plane SHOULD be equipped with R-77 and R-73 but gaijn just lets the plane languish. When you get to the point where you’re going for gun kills the 141 is russia’s best plane for scoring gun kills.
i was talking single plane of course, alot of missiles are drastically underperfoming if we consider dual plane, im fairly sure r73 can go up to 70 gs dual plane
9.13 has support for 27ER out of the factory and 9.12 needs a data update but can fire 27ER, another false assertion.
You must play NATO
If I only played NATO, I wouldn’t be calling for a buff to the 29, genius 😂🤣 Now go read the 29’s flight manual, assuming you can read and this is not someone else replying for you 💀
The Persian Tomcat is funny to me, because going against “BR 13 pilots” I still knock off one or two at the start of the match. Its because I get the plane up to 1200 km/hr launch Fakours at pilots who are cruising low on TWS and if you match the Tomcats speed with the mass of the Fakours…well you know the rest. Would you believe Ive never been killed by a Fakour/Phoenix, only when Ive been flying a Varient of the Tomcat with its terrible RWR! I know myself, if I look at the opening lineup rolling down the runway, if I see Tomcats in battle, I just turn 90 degrees a couple of times and all the Phoenix spam locks are broken, but we have a lot of noobs who fly straight into them like lemmings. The r27er is a totally different character, and so I appreciate your reply. I certainly cannot go to the “Information” tab anymore, because its like a Google Review or Facebook “Like”. This game is catering to that now I guess, and so thank you for your assessment of the Yak141, it seems like a plane that I can make work, I have over 10,000 airkills and so Im not statistically driven anymore, I just like the challenge of figuring out how to make a certain plane work in game, does that make sense? Thank you
Thats how I have my fun now, figuring out how to make planes that perhaps have problems, do well, my grind is over, I have most every plane I want, and so Im able to enjoy the fruits of my past success, if you will. Good Luck mate and thank you for your assessment.
There was a time I used to watch YouTube videos and the like and I couldnt figure out why my US radar missiles were not working. LOL, but then finally I realized you cant go on Real World activity, but it is how the devs of this game develop the Physics. It seems to me that in the last 30 years NATO aircraft destroy everything they come across,…take the F15 for example, undefeated in air combat. It just took a while for Gaijin to catch up, Oh before a year ago, there was definitely a Russian bias, or eastern block nod…can you see the game changing, I think they started to notice they were losing some good US money
You can ask them to model f15 BRs so it only faces su17s and su22s and a rare mig-21, so it will be on par with your reality
That is what people don’t understand, the F-15 got it’s record by killing basically entirely third gen aircraft. That’s not to take away from how good it is, but like, the 100+ kills to 0 is not against stuff at it’s level, or even close.
Literally this.
BVR/SARH “meta” in the day and age of 100m MP height was one of the biggest nothing-burgers in recent history. Making SARH missiles useless was braindead easy, so close-range performance was much more important.
Not only Gripen had a really great FM, it also could shit out flares for minutes at a time, making it really annoying to deal with.
So yeah, ER was the best useless missile at that time.
It is also fiction. Look into Bekka Valley, the total Syrian losses to all causes, including friendly fire, crashes, can’t match the Israeli claims.
But, they had a very formidable battle! They hit 21bis and 21PFM with AIM-7M! So dramatic, so powerful! And the Syrians? Not even R-60M.
Well of course assuming they were not shooting 23BN. But! An opponent with only guns, against an Su-27, that’s very fair.
“To boldly lie where no truth has gone before!”
F-15 mains, probably.
Calling them useless is going a bit too far, but fox1’s like the AIM-7F/27ER were not the core of the meta. They were just a tool for punishing anyone that tried to do a high yo-yo or something to cut their turn radius down by climbing in their turns. The only planes that were routinely making high altitude BVR attacks were tomcats with phoenixes. Most of the phoenixes would miss but they were the only ones routinely trying to play at high altitude. Them and premium wallet warrior noobs that hadn’t gotten the memo yet.
So grind the 29G, that should be its niche now that it cant be removed. The 9.12 and 9.13 should only have R27R both for historical reasons and so they can stay 12.7 away from 13.0.
No… just… no…
I’m never wasting my time grinding Germany
Then I don’t think you really deserve a MiG-29 with R27ERs and R73s unless you play the 29SMT because the 12.7 29s are far better off receiving R-73s and NOT getting R-27ERs.
I have no intentions, nor interest to grind Germany for one jet, it is a waste of time.
Then don’t expect a R73 MiG29 with a R27ER besides on the 29G and 29SMT. Pretty simple.
I mean, it’s not like those are the only Mig-29 varients that will be added
Unlucky for you, they are likely never going to add another 29 in the BR range that would fit what you want
