As I’ve explained before in this post. It’s a game, you just balance it… That is all it takes for one nation to not dominate, you just balance the game.

You see , reading what our good friend sartt here just said. Meaning the air stuff US have in the game is not strong enough, this is a post about russian top tier air. But somehow US get involved in it , that a off topic ! Speaking of new stuff being added. Su24 is super mid in ARB , ground is fine. But that thing is just mid in ARB

balance a game with weapons of war? Gaijin used " historical accuracy " as a selling point. You can’t say your game is full of historically accurate vehicles, then alter a entire nation making it not historically accurate. People would look at that as false advertisement and sue someone into the dirt. Gaijin does not own any of the vehicles used in this game. These are weapons made by multi million / billion dollar companies that can pull them from this game if they find out someone is using them and saying they are more inferior that they truly are. Thats another reason why the entire " classified documents " thing is taken so seriously.

It’s a PvP game. It needs balance. This is why half the post WW2 french tanks are around BR 5.3 to 8.0. The game is balanced around vehicles performances, or else there’s no point having multiple nation, just remove everything that isn’t USA.
You’re also overestimating US stuff quite a lot. They’re not the only country that can build capable weapons.

Exactly, many other countries make capable weapons.
This is under two misconceptions. One. That the entire game is historically accurate. Two. That there isn’t already instances of things being balanced for gameplay. Both of which aren’t true.

No let’s be honest let him have that “US the best in the world and other country can’t develop good stuff” It is still a game and US/USSR is not the only nation in the game , we need to look at other nation as well to balancing stuff. That why T80B get thermal even tho irl they didn’t. This thread is about USSR top tier jet being bad cause they are and we asking for them to be fixed to be more competitive. That doesn’t mean it should only apply to USSR. I would like to see the same apply to other nation as well, considering none , have the air line up as strong as what the US have right now

I haven’t played top tier after the update dropped yet, but from what I’ve seen Su-34 is more of a bomber-fighter, than a fighter-bomber, so I agree.
Gaijin should add them when Russia gets the next step in the Flanker line, so I guess some kind of a base model Su-30?

I barely know modern planes that aren’t in the game. I know some variants of the Su-30 are crazy good and one of the best Flankers overall, so I think these would be too good to be added. I think one of these variants was Su-30MKI?
They released an F-15E that breaks the laws of physics and it got rightfully nerfed. It was probably a fluke, but imo they were preying on people who GE vehicles.
Either way stop mentioning it. It was wrong, it’s the past now and it’s only been like that for 1 day. I can already see it being mentioned for generations to come.
From what I’ve seen on YouTube the nerf wasn’t slight and it got nerfed from ridiculous SR-71 levels to normal F-15 levels. It’s still better than F-15C obviously.

You do of course realize @Smin1080p_WT Himself literally stated they don’t nerf weapons of a nation so other nations , because of other nations right?

Would like but considering how gaijin balancing stuff as of now, the chance of it either becoming a slightly better su27 or straight up another mid top tier jet is high and everyone else get straight up better stuff
They do though, it doesn’t take a genius to realize this. I mean, a big part of this post is about Russian flight model nerfs not being undone, even though the R-27ER meta is over

T80B is literally a good example of it. Getting something they didn’t have to make it more competitive. R73/27ER missiles are still strong but the new stuff they getting are simply not enough. Not to mention their FM.
I’d rather not mention Ground vehicles in the post, I want to keep the topic about top tier air and how it relates to Russian fighter balance, etc.
I just want to use an example , there are probably more out there but I can’t be bothered to find but yeah , this problem will not be solved anytime soon even if they are one of the worst jet in the game. Considering how a large part of the community are being extremely helpful about the thing that need balancing
I hope the issues are fixed eventually, because the December update has a chance to make it even worse.
