The Spike UH60 was very cancer for a very long time now. It still would be, but the overtuned new AA’s just make it very hard to play, which goes for every helictoper without DIRCM now.
IRIS-T also pulls 180 or does even more ridiculous stuff and you can’t notch or multipath it. Calling BUK the best ist just wrong.
I guess, but it was a bus and usually pretty easy food for Pantsirs. Just the other night, I stopped about 30 Spikes, Hammers, and similar missiles with my Pantsir by just playing Iron Dome.
The IRIS-T can’t engage a single LDIRCM helicopter. The BUK has an ARH missile with 3.5 times the range and a splash size bigger than the multi-path variance of 20 meters. It’s not an unkillable SPAA, but in-game, it is currently the best at medium to long-range tasks.
I mean good for you, but then the guy just let you live because you can easily overwhelm the pantsir with the Jewhawk.
It definitely can kill the MI-28, i don’t know about the others. And i got killed by it while i was landed on the airfield, because the guy launched at me in a split second i was exposed and i didn’t even realize it.
or maybe its impart because the LMUR is much more oppressive weapon than the others that were added, and it is always on the same team as the most effective AA systems against these helis
Totaly not reasonable to think, that people have to grind the helicopter first and then also go through the stock grind.
No no, it’s the big bad Russians again, with direct orders from the Kremlin to make them biased.
what do you mean they have a better defensive system, from what I have seen all 3 LDIRCM systems are around as effective as each other in game (despite the fact that they are not IRL)
Gaijin claims that this is value for the average speed not the maximun, dont know which source are they using, but there is also footage from a 15km shot engagement that also shows that this would be the average speed although this wouldnt count by itself as a source as it is a video.
If the 64E only had 8 JAGMs, then yes, I would agree however, because it has 16, I argue that it balances it out the mi28.
Both of these platforms has it’s ups and downs. The 64E can saturate the air resulting in a much greater chance of spaa being overwhelmed. Even though JAGMs don’t do much damage, there is a chance that it can one shot tanks. I think that’s a fair trade off because you’ll be getting much more hits. The Mi28 has extremely powerful agms which make getting one shot kills extremely consistent but the down side is that it only has 8 of them. Any competent spaa can easily take down all of them.
Don’t get me wrong, the JAGMs should be fixed as it’s supposed to have a multi-purpose warhead but right now, I think it’s fine.
Once I get the 64E I’ll give a more definitive answer, but this is what I have observed so far.
