i dont know if anyone has noticed lately but a huge surge in MI-28NM plaguing top tier, specicially with the LMUR missile setup.
anyone who doesnt know what these are, are basically 8 garenteed kills.
these things are faster than PARS, bigger explosive and track far better so by the time youve spotted this guy, hes already lauched and that missile is 3 seconds away from your cranium.
and being japan you get uptiered contcnatly at 11.7, you basically never see a downtier, and when your trying to fight a MI-28NM with just a type 93 its pretty damn unfair, especailly when you hit him, 3 times and he contiues to kill your entire team.
and yet, despite all this, its perfectly fine to have this weapon system. but the british brimstone OH NO BUDDY cant be having fire and forget for your apache. even though the LMUR is basically a hellfire missile in USSR clothing. and even when we do have them on aircraft, they are laser bound.
i really want a dev to explain how uttely unfair this clearly is to minor nations, especially with the newest BUK 3 making ground battles have completely dead airspace since you spawn and get locked instantly, so you can even get out of a dive before being hit with a missile the size of a double decker bus.
I just need to know if gaijin are ever going to make brimstones not only for helicopters, but FAF too like they should be because playing any nation apart from the top 3 in top tier is damn right impossible now and it about as entiretianing as pulling teeth.
Ive been playing this for over 10 years and im honestly consdering leaving a deleting it because it just becomes that more dissapointing and broken its hard to keep playing for more than 3 games. and its not like i can play low tiers becasue i cant progress that way because how dare you have fun at lower battleratings.
Give it a bit of time. Once the US playerbase has finished their 400k RP grind for the AH64E Gaijin will realize that giving invincible helicopters FnF missiles was a mistake

Ive just got out of a game where my spaa didnt touch the heli i killed one of the helis he jumped from a ka40 into a mi28nm then killed half of the team re armed and did it again. Gaijin will do anything but give the euro a fnf brimstone or one that wont drift after firing but this is a pisstake
idk about that, the apache fnfs have been doing significantly worse than LIMURS, not to mention how the MI-28 also gets the benefits of IR missile immunity
In addition to the new Helis being very difficult to deal with with ARH SPAA, the drones are unkillable.
I recently unlocked the SAMP/T and they are pretty untouchable if the enemy hovers them over your spawn under 2 km away.
They can just spot all your SPAA locations and then you can get indirect fire from Heli rocket spam, or the Heli knows exactly where to peak and then fire a FnF before diving below tree line and they are also untouchable.
Basically as it is in the AH-64E and the Mi28-NM you have to play like an absolute idiot to die. Or a jet has to spawn and hunt them down because they are pretty much invincible against SPAA.
They can also sit on heli pad and spam and then reload far too fast. At the very least the re-arm time should incrementally increase every time you sit on the heli pad. Getting rocket spammed 3 seconds into the game by a Ka-50 that is using CCIP + a drone that is unkillable is really unsatisfying gameplay that just makes you want to quit.
Also surprise surprise RU teams often have 2S38 at top tier which deal with drones easily, and they often have many light vehicles that can send a swarm of drones to sit over your spawn.

Also if it takes longer than Ka-50’s rebalancing close to its own release I wouldn’t be surprised.
Nothing was as fast as Gaijin removing S-13s from Ka-50 within 2 months.
Ka-50’s first introduction of heavy rockets is what got us spawn-point heavy rockets on helicopters.
Even a 7.0 jet can make easy work of the Apache or the Mi-28, spawn camping heli pads is basically free kills (unless you face a Chinese heli, but they generally have worse air to ground weapons)
So you essentially wants to nerf the only real (besides the Z10 and AH64) way to deal with the new overpowered SPAAs? Flakrad and other radar spaas, even Otomatic or Pumas can be a enourmous threat to the MI28, even the AFK Gamestyle new spaas can consistantly get pass the DIRCM, it’s a 50/50 when it works or not.
What we need is HARM, CAS players are suffering, we need to rebalance things, we all agree it was a bit one sided if a good Cas player was on the helm, but now it’s simply impossible to spawn any planes in toptier
