Considering everyone now gets an IR atgm with the AH-64 accept Sweden. I think top tier will be great
No more complaints… unless you play Italy or sweden

The nose will not give protection to top down missiles.
I think they will model it something like that. That will be enough for 95% of all cases.

Ah yes, if only there wasn’t an AGM missing half it’s features while other gets it’s full glory 🥀
that wouldnt work for the IIR seekers, creating a different less detailed image of the same target wouldnt do anything to stop an already locked on 9x.
Seems pretty good for missing half of its features.
more than half of them
lets see what it has in game: heat warhead, range
now look at IRL: lofting flight profile, multimodal seeker, blast-frag effects, SAP effect (like HE-OR in game), likely proximity fuse
so yeah its missing a lot more than half its features
Yeah, but I’m not that sure about the proxy fuse, some sources state it’s just for detonation above ground. Some sources say it’s “vision” is a straight beam and not at all like a radio proxy fuse.

I knew a saw a post LMUR double standarts, let me see if I can find it.
Found it! LMUR vs JAGM Loft Angle V2
Like day and night difference

it definitively has a height of burst function which on other things like artillery shells is modeled as a proxy fuse in game
but we have sources that indicate late 114L variants can use their MMW radar as a proxy fuse against aircraft
and JAGM both has a similar MMW radar and has some types of aircraft and drones in its target set
so its reasonable to assume that it can also use its MMW radar as a type of proxy fuse
That does sound reasonable. But like always, we get a chopped version of the real thing. At least 2 bug reports on that got closed as “not a bug” and you can’t make a bug report based on assumptions… so… unless we find a sources that Gaijin approves then no proxy fuse :}
Besides, you ofc can’t give something a russia-exclusive feature like seen on Vikhrs, fssss
Not only does the Mi28NM carry 8 LMUR missiles with 15km range, instant kill damage, and the only agm with a proper top attack profile, it also has a 30mm chin mounted gun with an APDS belt, a radar, and LDIRCM capability, yet the EC665 UHT with PARS 3 LR with 8km range, extremely poor damage, no top attack profile, no chin mounted gun, no radar, no LDIRCM capability, and is defenseless against the MI28NM, are the same battle rating…
Make it make sense.
Russian cope simulator buddy thats all War thunder is now
Some sources say it’s “vision” is a straight beam and not at all like a radio proxy fuse.
So then how does the AGM-114L-7 work, it doesn’t have an annular TTD anywhere, and we know it has a proximity fuse.

The main thing is the fnf missile. Yeah it is worse than the lmurs but that are still good and most importantly a way for hellicopters to counter SACLOS missiles.
That is why they are the same br
some sources state it’s just for detonation above ground
That’s how a height of burst fuze works, it detonates a specific distance from the ground.
Ou don’t understand proxy fuze on the apaches chaingun would be way too much!

Well duh

While I agree there is a massive problem with that helicopter specifically with how they implemented the DIRCM, One thing I would like to point out is the UK has actually never used Brimstone missiles on the Apache platform in any combat scenario.
It was successfully demonstrated in controlled trials but the UK MOD Decided to go with US made JAGM.
There was a 2016 live fire demonstration, MBDA Conducted the first ever live firing of the Brimstones on the Apache AH-64E, These took place over a nine month trial program at US Test ranges in Mesa and Yuma Arizona using a leased US government Apache not a UK one.
but from all the information I was able to get from this it just simply looks like they chose the American missile Due to its compatibility, existing supply chain, integration and cost.
generally i would bring both adats and claws to counter helis effectively but that means i have to sacrifice my CAS/Helicopter slot for an extra anti-air.
