LMUR vs JAGM Loft Angle V2

BEFORE you type skill issue… Just know there is plenty more where this came from.

Beating a dead horse but this is just too bad to let up on.

Is there any chance this can be addressed quickly? It’s basically just a slap in the face. As 90% of the time the JAGM is completely useless…

I’m not talking about the warhead, payload, speed, at a bare minimum there is evidence to show that this performance for loft angle we are getting right now is downright WRONG.

Also not to say that I have never seen a JAGM hit at a better angle, but usually it’s on taller vehicles like a Pantsir or similar SAM system that is just physically taller than an MBT. These were just screenshots from my two most recent games.

EDIT; I also hope that with the inclusion of the JAGM to all other nations helps flesh out this issue.

Also the spike and pars have the bug angle attack for years but gaijin just play blind on the west. LMUR got it day one.

it also feels like JAGM is lofting less now than it did on release

it used to hit at around a ~25 degree angle while now its hitting at 10-20 degrees

And Spikes and PARS ain’t any better. Golden child gets preferential treatment.

Spikes come at last 70°, PARS there is less info about it but the lofting profile in game is plainly wrong, Gaijin modeled it after its direct attack mode which does not exceed 30° but top attack is at the very least 45° to 50°.

And I haven’t died to a single JAGM since release, I wonder why :)))

also probably the most wide spread helicopter guided weapon the hellfire should also loft but doesnt really in game

I hope this can finally be addressed.

2 years is inexcusable. No reason this would be left out when it’s such a crucial operation.

Especially when LMUR was introduced and working perfectly fine when talking about loft.

Give it a few more years before Russia invents somenthing effective to counter this and just then can Hellfires be fixed.

As it was with the IRIS-T SLM and Mi-28NM, same double standarts will be every time

I see people racking up kills with LMURs, while the JAGMs are so bad that ive seen tutorials saying to fire 2-3 per enemy because of how badly they preform, and at most they only get like 4 kills

I once dumped 32 and 40 missiles to get 5 kills, the absolute state.

I haven’t had a chance to try BA11 yet, but something tells me it’s the same there, maybe 1400 mm of pen will do the trick

It’s sad because I am. And I left out some from that game that are just complete misses too… depressing

Here’s hoping with all of the new nations getting the JAGM will expose the unusable nature of them.

I hate IR ATGM randomly hitting the parts of the vehicle, especially for HEAT warhead missiles, which is undoubtedly weakened. Your kill depends on whether the missile can hit the key position of the target. Even if you are a Maverick with a TNT equivalent of up to 50kg, they should receive LMUR’s dive attack instead of blindly hitting irrelevant positions
