Gaijin claims that this is value for the average speed not the maximun, dont know which source are they using, but there is also footage from a 15km shot engagement that also shows that this would be the average speed although this wouldnt count by itself as a source as it is a video.
If the 64E only had 8 JAGMs, then yes, I would agree however, because it has 16, I argue that it balances it out the mi28.
Both of these platforms has it’s ups and downs. The 64E can saturate the air resulting in a much greater chance of spaa being overwhelmed. Even though JAGMs don’t do much damage, there is a chance that it can one shot tanks. I think that’s a fair trade off because you’ll be getting much more hits. The Mi28 has extremely powerful agms which make getting one shot kills extremely consistent but the down side is that it only has 8 of them. Any competent spaa can easily take down all of them.
Don’t get me wrong, the JAGMs should be fixed as it’s supposed to have a multi-purpose warhead but right now, I think it’s fine.
Once I get the 64E I’ll give a more definitive answer, but this is what I have observed so far.

China and US don’t have CAS that made IRIS-T necessary in the first place.

I doubt they’ll touch those three helicopters, not until planes get better AGMs to deal with current AAs.

It literally cannot engage LDIRCM since LDIRCM in this game is a forcefield that can counter an infinite number of missiles and cannot be overwhelmed.
The big advantage of the BUK is that its radar based and you don’t really need the radar truck, in fact, the radar truck can be destroyed and you’ll be fine.

Same for me, I recently got the EC665 Tiger UHT.
Every match, the same thing happens. I spawn in, ascend some meters into the air and see “M28” appear on the RWR - Then I get to see how LMUR completely annihilates my helicopter because I don’t now how to break lock from them.
Even better is their stupid godmode DIRCM. PARS3LR - useless, ATAS - useless, APKWS II - never equipped / never hits.
They should make it like in real life, depending on the DIRCM type, the MIL28NM should only be able to intercept 2 missiles at a time.

Top Tier is dead right now. it’s impossible to play against the new helis.

Probably will take a bit but remember Tiger UHT when it was first released, everyone was spamming it like people are doing now with the mi-28nm, it will get fixed, in the mean time I find that countering them with saclos missiles can be quite easy since most players are inexperienced with it just dont sit in spawn and dont radar lock them, most will be clueless till its too late :). Also farming them with Rafale and eurofighter is pretty reliable and easy (finally a use for the brimstones) funnily enough micas also hit them reliably.

I think the more absurd part is that the spawn cost of these Helis is absurdly low. Especially with the IR guided missiles. Considering how easy it is to get kills with them the spawn cost should be tripled or more. Just recently I watched a replay of a 2S38 getting 2 assists, nothing else. He dies, spawns the NM with LMURs and gets 13+ kills. How can anyone justify that? Realism? Its a f*cking game. War Thunder has nothing to do with realism. I have always been saying, stuff like CAS should be a one time opportunity to turn the match to your teams favor and not an instant win card. The cost should be equal to that. I don’t know the current spawn cost of the NM with LMURs, but the AH-64DJP for example costs roughly 550 with 4 ATAS and 16 114Ks. The AH-64E and Mi-28NM should at least cost 1500 or more if they choose the IR Loadout.

Ive ran into an issue where i cant laser lock the MI28 with any other heli from most angles. idk why but its really annoying using laser weapons and i cant track.
Video when not used for a source of time in and of itself, is always allowed, especially as a supplemental source to documentation.
USA does: F-15E and F-16C.
I think CLAWS is the minimum viable SPAA that can deal with F-15E and F-16C, if it’s less range than 25km maximum, then it’s unusable against those.
Now they have two great helicopters.
Besides my match having a cheater in it just now with a brand new account after their old account was sold or banned, nothing interesting happened in my top tier match. Helicopters didn’t help the enemy.
