Nothing you’ve provided had any new information. Even the stuff you didnt provide (the sources from the conflict, which id already seen and mentionned in the original post) were also looked over by mods and they concluded the same as me; no actual new information regarding the existence of the Kh-38MT or its usage existed in the articles.
Does look like I mistankenly altered what you said on that point. That was my mistake and I’ll fix it.
Edit: fixed
Im not sure how I made that mistake, and I do apoligize for it, but it doesnt actually change the point of the argument at all. All nations having IR weapons on a vehicle in general is a pointless argument for why the Kh-38MT deserves to remain in-game.
Right, hmu when more mods read the same thing both myself and a mod concluded includes no new info regarding the Kh-38MT and its usage, and comes to a different conclusion.
It does have a point. Other nations lack their IR heli weapons. As a comparison, it is like evening the playing field, where Russia doesn’t have any ir ATGMs, they have an ir AGM.
Also, having to manually input “jets” is kinda sus no? Aren’t you typing on M&K?
It doesnt. A munitions capabilities is not solely related to its F&F capabilities (tho F&F is a big capability advantage). For example, Kh-38ML is still much deadlier than an AGM-65D, never mind a PARS 3LR or Spike ER, which have less than a quarter the launch range.
No, i’m usually responding on my phone, and can get lost in the quote brackets on occaision. I often edit my own posts to better reflect what I was trying to say, fix typos that annoy me, or specify potential ambiguities in my statements. It seems in this case I accidentally did so to your statement, and have since fixed it.
Just something basic along the lines of “if I get something I can share, I’ll share it”.
I can sort of understand the occasional ping getting lost, a lot of ppl ping the team, but they definitely know about this thread and multiple ppl have pinged them for an answer, so they definitly arent missing the pings, they’re choosing not to answer. No clue if thats cuz they dont intend to ever answer or if its just that they haven’t made a decision yet.
As far as I can tell, they have no other info aside from what I’ve provided though. If they did, they could’ve killed this thread ages ago by just posting the evidence I requested.
Would be nice if they took the time to confirm they were looking into it and deliberating though, instead of giving us the silent treatment and giving us good reason to believe they just wanted to ignore the problem until it goes away…
It ultimately boils down to this. They don’t want to face the backlash or the humiliation of admitting to doing something potentially malicious, such as adding this weapon to the game without the necessary sources.
Well, someone needs to be held accountable for the headaches this weapon has been giving everyone for a year.
At least the dev(s) that said “we believe this to be a clear marketing lie” came forward to clarify what they truly meant. We need someone at Gaijin to speak up on this situation, otherwise they don’t have a shred of remorse or integrity anymore.
