It’s funny how I oppose airfield camping, and support needing to use at least a tiny amount of skill to strafe people, and people get mad.
Airfield campers make it way too easy to spot them.

then as I said play the damn objective and win the game the other way you really lack reading skills if you can’t see the other option the game allows you to do and win with more xp then you get for the guy running circles around the AF …
in GRB people hate being spawn camped…ARB players at 13.7 - 14.3…WWWWAAAAA why can’t we spawn camp the last guy in a 5 v 1 at point black range
I will agree that for lower BRs sure you could make them Rolands…for things rocking fox 3s…honestly it should be stronger then the iTO 90M. They start shooting at about 9km…that’s nothing when we are talking fox 3s!

Yes, it was meh, but claiming [it was impossible to die] is an insane level of wild exaggeration.
I faced them while some subsonic jets in the earliest BR radius, and it was quite hard to fight against them.
(Maybe Meteor, Swift or F2H?)
Transonic is quite useful to fight against AF Rolands.
If your plane is not capable of it, skill barr goes high and does not become [impossible to die]

you dont spawn on the airfield in ARB anyway and if you did, you spawn at the same time as the enemy team, not halfway into the match

Roland’s should remain the primary airfield AA until 13.0 or so IMO. They are too powerful to be facing flareless aircraft, and even against 3rd gens they would be too much for ARB.
They are fine for 13.0 and above.

at 13.0 or 12.7 would put it in range of the ITOs actual BR which seems reasonable to me

and before you ASK…yes I have spawn camped! Do I want it mitigated YES! If you lock someone in their spawn leave them…but at the very least give them some sort of chance to claw back instead of a Beach Head Rush vs MG42s! Your side has already WON!

I translated that skill to Roland 3s and TOR-M1s.
