BR compression sucks, tldr
With the J-7D at 10.7, the Kfir Canard would definitely make sense at 10.7 as well. It only has two missiles, which are definitely not better than those on the J-7D, yet it’s sitting at BR 11, the same as the MiG-21bis, which has six all-aspect missiles. That’s just absolutely insane.
The kfir canard is one of the best dogfighting planes at that tier, what are you all smoking.
It’s bad. I got outmaneuvered by a Su-39 just now when I decided to end the round after my 4rd bombing run.
That said, my plane was fast enough to outrun the enemy planes for 4 bases to bomb, so I guess that’s one thing good about this plane.

Don’t worry—maybe BR 11.0 is too high for the Canard, but BR 11.3 will be just right for two AIM-9G missiles and the DEFA cannons.

That’s a good joke—I guess you don’t know what’s going on, or you don’t play this game anymore. You can’t explain every stupid decision away with “compression,” so what is the J-7D doing at BR 10.7 when it has significantly better equipment than the Canard? Or the NF-5A, with its phenomenal FM and two rockets of the same class as the Canard’s?
BR 11.3 is the cap for planes like the J-8B, F-5E FCU, JA37C, etc.—these are planes with significantly better armament than the Canard, which is on par with BR 10.3–10.7 planes.
A BR 11.0 for the Canard is already too much, and they’re still increasing it? Be serious and start thinking instead of parroting “compression” like a parrot.
It’s not decompression if the kfir is one of two planes moving up in its BR range.
11.0 is fair for it, and I don’t think 10.7 would be unreasonable. 10.3 is too low however.

I agree—the ideal compromise for the Kfir Canard is BR 10.7, which is the BR for the F-5C or even the better NF-5A, with similar equipment and no radar.
BR 11.0 is already a penalty for the Canard, and at BR 11.3 it will reach EOL status.
The only thing that would hold this back as being the undisputed best 10.7 fighter in the game once the obvious outlier, undertiered vehicles such as the J7D or NF-5A go up to 11.0 or 11.3 where they belong, will be the 2 count missile limitation. Otherwise, you have a better FM than everybody else, and you have flares. Not exactly balanced just because you get two missiles, but whatever
