I agree, UK jets are in need of this, but not say, F-4S. I’d also like to see the FG.1 drop to 11.7 and not receive 9Ls so that there is a difference between FG.1 and FGR.2
That’s what I would like to see also since FG.1 didn’t carried 9L only FGR.2 and F-4J UK.
I never ever tought that somebody ever would think that F-4S in it’s state would need Aim-9L like those British fellas needs.
F-4S it’s overall good plane since everything on it it’s decent or good.
While on British ones not quiet straight forward especially F-4J since it’s straight downgrade from FGR.2, even worse RWR alongside Engines.
Both have R-24 and all aspect R-60M/R-60MK
Aim9G is a rear aspect only missile with a delay in tracking time off the rail they do not pull anywhere near the G the R-60 does.
Aim9L are still very easy to flare having no IRCCM but would allow Phantoms to have a missile that can be used all aspect or higher off boresite
how many times do i have to tell aim9ls are so much better than r60ms and nothing will change untill they fix this BR issues.
That may be the case, however the 9L can be as easilly flared as the R-60M
The R-60M is faster off the rail and pulls more G.
The gap between the R-60M and L is closer than the gap between the G and the R-60M
If u use 9l rear aspect with in 2km 9/10 times missile gonna ignore flares. I used both missiles trust me 9l are so much better than r60ms
9Ls do not have any resistance that R-60ms also dont have
A 18g( it’s 18 right?) missile the same as a 35-40g? Cmon man, they’re not even the same. Once I learned about ARH I can probably count the amount of times on one hand I ever died to an aim54 again. Not even close to the same thing as an aim120 even if it’s an ARH.

well it work in WT too. I used r60m rear aspect like 100times. I never seen single time it ignore flares
The 9L’s gate sure helps
Things like the Phantom FGR2 fighting them at 13.0 is stupud. 12.7 is just insane. R-27ERs are still OP and it has a LOT of them

Sure, doesn’t work like that in game though. Both missiles have the same resistance.
If it went to 12.7 it would just slaughter 11.7/12.0
Eurofighter just has to go up to 15.0

F-14B at 13.0 with 9L
Fox 3’s are Fox 3’s my guy, doesnt matter what they pull.
nah, phoenixes are not comparable to normal fox3s and neither are fakours really
Doesnt change my point, fox 3’s are still fox 3’s, as long as they have a ARH seeker, they are fox 3s.
