i mean the t55’s apds performs the same as the apds in game, while it should be better than the 3bm20 which had, supposedly, the same penetration as the 3bm8.
Probably because It would relatively complex to properly model as they are have a jacketed segmented core need a new model for segmented rod which would also affects to the dm53 and others with anti era tips
Hezbollah fields some of the most advanced Russian and Iranian weaponry. Israel produces weaponry so good that European nations will buy it over European options. If Israeli tech is good enough to impress European countries, then using deductive reasoning, we can guarantee that Israel knows how to defend against such weaponry.
Even more, Israel used Iron Vision and produced the only operational, mass-produced, and combat-tested hard-kill APS in the world.
Even at minimum, the Merkava Mk.4 has shown to shrug off direct hits from Kornet missiles without the APS’s assistance on older versions. The Kornet is still considered one of the best ATGMs in the entire world.
Well, when it comes to useful ground ordnance, the F-15I isn’t unique besides the fact that it can carry 20 SDBs which are very useful against SPAAs and 6 AGM-65s. What I mean to say is that AGM-65 are nothing new and are not limited to few planes (evry top tier planes has something similar) and so aren’t SDBs. However, The Eurofighter has got the Brimstones (though they are laser guided) and they’re a more manoeuvrable (the planes). The rafale gets the hammers and they DO hammer with their IR-IOG-GNSS, and they’re quite manoeuvrable too. Then there’s the KH-38 carriers (Su-30 and Su-34) and well, I think I don’t need to explain myself here. So it’s not the most meta plane.
So it’s on them for not using spice or developing a potent long range AGM. maybe laser focusing your weapon development to level apartment complex instead of defeating actual weapon is bad.
I do think that Vikhrs are good but Hellfires are not, however if you can keep the target in LOS, the Hellfire is much more trustworthy than the Spike. Vikhrs are the best laser guided munition held by helicopters due to their guidance system.
The issue is that Gaijin has not introduced all the weapons Israel could carry, same goes for other countries obviously, and Israel does have a long range missile it’s just that it’s range is too much for the game right now. I’m sure USA (and other countries, I’m speaking about the F-15I the israeli F-15E) also has something similar. The problem isn’t on the country’s side, it’s on the game developers in this case. (And balance).
Almost as if sabras armor isnt its main selling point; even that i dont have game open right now but im sure it isnt as black and white as you portray it, with regards to protection against 8.7 shells.
I went with the average armor, which meant checking the entire turret, not just the tip of the arrowhead.
I don’t take armor as seriously as I use to due to my new experience in M1A1 at top BR.
@CobarGG Thanks for admitting that my post is correct on AH-60, F-15, Kurnass 2000, etc via your post’s failed statshaming attempt that proves nothing.
Citing skill in a discussion about vehicles being good or not is not the path to take. You intentionally omitted my Merkava Mk3.
Also USSR isn’t free frags.
Your post’s unhinged rant of pure ragebait is sad…
@scripterzofindia accusing all of NATO of being Russia, no surprise.
T-64B has worse mobility than Merkavas…
Also you’re not obligated to spawn CAS, let alone in unfavorable situations.
I’ve removed a number of CAS from my lineups purely because of tanks just being better.
Also your last paragraph calling Merkavas OP after saying mean things to me is a tad wild:
I was speaking 120mm DM23 as the comparison for 413.
M111 is likely literally 105mm DM23 though.
The point of my post was to be supportive of general correction of balance for 9.3 area of ground while being supportive of the things I felt he was correct on.
Merkavas are good against CE, they have been designed to fend off such threats in urban environments.
It surely can stop darts but how good that protection is is unknown. Merkava Mk4 turret armor should be able to stop all darts in the game for the sake of balancing, regardless if it’s realistic or not. Hull armor should also improve to at least stop earlier rounds like DM33 or something similar.
Sabra never relied on it’s armor so you aren’t losing much.
