Yeah, I think the Rafale F4s would be quite nice and would add to Japan tree’s already growing portfolio of capable multirole aircraft. (I personally am most excited to have the Rafale F4/Su-30MKM/Gripen E in a single lineup, so I can pick and choose which plane might be the best pick for the ingame situation in GRB)
I joke with friends that Japan tree probably has the potential to be the most Ace Combat-esqe tree out of all nations ingame now.
Rafales don’t use IRIS-T at all, and I don’t think they’re capable of doing so either. They use MICA-IR instead

Discussions are ongoing and have not yet reached the final stage,” Rico told Tempo on Saturday, December 20, 2025.Rico emphasized that the Ministry of Defense has not yet been able to provide any details regarding the procurement plan. He stated that ongoing discussions mean the government cannot yet confirm the procurement timeline, number of units, or estimated unit price of the aircraft.“Regarding the procurement time, number of units, and estimated unit price, we cannot yet provide information, as it is still under discussion,” he said.He also added that any decision regarding the procurement of major weapons systems would be officially announced by the government after going through all the required stages. “Once a decision is made, it will be announced through official government channels,” Rico said.

Look what i found today i my local museum (There is more photo but this the only tank in the museum, the rest is artillery and other AFV like Daimler Dingo and Braat Overvalwagen railway armored car)

ohoho I’ve been there, they got surprisingly sizeable number of Mauser (Kar98k?) rifles in the collection, there’s also a mismatched Lee-Enfield sniper rifle (which kinda annoyed me lol)

the guns collection cabinet kinda wack, they mix post war weapons like Madsen M/50 and Pre war/WW2 era Dutch Geweer M.95 in same cabinet, even the label are mismatched like Walther P38 tagged as Polish FB Vis pistol. Also the gun condition is not great like i saw a FN 49 full on mold spot in the cabinet and Lewis gun with weird DP like pan mag

Another procurement rumor (more or less) confirmed:
The Instagram account of the National Air Defense Command posted on 29 December that the Commander of the National Air Defense Command receives the report of Indonesian Army personnel’s Battalion-level commanders training on Buk Air Defence in Belarus.

Previously, the rumor said that the Ministry of Defense has taken an offer to buy and signed the procurement contract for Belarus-made Buk-MB2K SAM system.
