I used the website’s articles in the AMX-13/105 retrofit suggestion as well. It really is a shame that Angkasa Reader basically vanished without a proper archival. That and the old-old Kaskus Militer, now its all just broken jpegs
While we still have the tank as a museum piece (specifically the Dharma Wiratama Army Museum in Yogyakarta), images of the thing while being in active service is especially hard to come by
Not just that, but you can find M3A3 Recce in Bandung Traffic park (alongside F-5E) but i swear the tank in that park once still had it’s turret when i still a child.
Seems like it never had a turret from the beginning, maybe you mistaken it for another Stuart monuments, iirc there’s some of them throughout Bandung

Does anyone know what gun is installed in this AMX-VCI photo? The barrel look too long for M2HB Browning machine gun and the conical flash hider is not something that usually fitted into the M2.
My wild guess it’s single Barrel ZPU-1/KPV HMG or something else. but i need someone else opinion and analysis
source of the photo
another angle

The barrel supports ( shroud) looks like an M2 Browning, that muzzle brake can also be found on other Indonesian brownings & other countries (IDF in this case)
the barrel length itself is the questionable part, it looks twice as tall as the regular M2 but maybe its due to the mounting port on the VCI since the mount is external and slightly protrudes compared to the V-150
UPDATE (08/01/2026)
Update V14
- Added the P6 ATAV (FZ275), AMX-13/105 RCWS Early & Late
- Added the Mockup Pandur FSV as an honorable mention
- Separated the Panser Kanon 20mm (Anoa PK20) as two different version, early & late
- Continuing update 13.1 = changes to the image border with trialed vehicles marked as green & honorable mentions as gold
- Updated description of the Buk-MB2K
Details
P6 ATAV (FZ275)
AMX-13/105 RCWS (Early)
AMX-13/105 RCWS (Late)
Pandur FSV
question:
-
So how much the approximate spare rocket P6 ATAV can carry? because just 2 70mm guided rocket + .50 cal would be bad in mid tier (unless it’s classified as TD)
-
If P6 ATAV with .50 cal now in the list, then it’s possible to add other light armed light vehicle like Improvised Armored truck with M2HB (just like used during Aceh Insurgency) for br 1.0 SPAA (just like soviet milk truck) or 40mm AGL platform light vehicle like BTR-40 and VBL? because there is considerable amount of vehicle suggestion with 40mm AGL as the main gun in the forum, and Gaijin is pretty much won’t give a damn with cold war vehicle in low tier
-
it is a TD, and i based it as a worse off ZT3A2 for the rank
-
its only because it has a rocket launcher, just like the ZT3A2, the rocket is the primary armament, rcws second
- it is a TD, and i based it as a worse off ZT3A2 for the rank
so no spare rocket?
no clue. The only appearance was at eurosatory we dont have a lot of details ¯_(ツ)_/¯
the same document also mentioned that the Army would receive two Harimau APC for testing this year

I hope PT Pindad and FNSS could develop SPH and SPAA based on Harimau Chassis
Bonus (timpa):
Jadgmaung
Strv Maung
Lmfao, the first two were quite convincing, but as soon as I saw this one

considering the reason why we havent bought more of the MT was because of cost (60% of the cost was on the turret if i recall), it should be considerably cheaper to use only the Harimau hull.
Would be the most ideal option for them to be the backbone APC/IFV of the Army. No brainer really considering they’re also planning on adding weapon stations on the APC

Details of the Retrofitted Scorpion 90, it seems to be a part of the same package by Respati, but they were mounted separately? Maybe its a compilation of the upgrades, rather than one single upgrade program
the changes seems to include:
Video of Stab

It could be that the thermals mounted on the barrel is only the prototype, and the one fitted ontop of the turret is a more modern version
EDIT: Found the Original HQ video version

so yeah they’re the same project, unknown exactly which is the earlier version, considering the image above has exposed wiring i presume its the early, whereas the one with only the vision port mounted one seems to be better put together
