Just for the heck of it, since the Philippines is the only one lacking in any sort of “subtree” for the ASEAN, I would like to propose these. l will try my best to link it with existing proposals that are as close to it as possible and not repeat the same vehicles that are in other SEA nations (Note: I will mention if proposal is for another nation.):
Ground:
→ Proposal is for the US. PH is the only other foreign operator besides the US.
GKN/Alvis Simba IFV
→ Proposal is for the UK. Was evaluated against the Belgian SIBMAS for Malaysian service. PH on the other hand, chose this vehicle in both APC and 25mm IFV variants. PH is the only operator of the vehicle.
Spoiler
SPYDER-SR System
→ Proposal is for Israel but is in active service as well with Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Philippine variant is mounted on a Tetra Truck Chassis.
Spoiler
Sabrah Light Tank
→ Based on the ASCOD II Chassis, equipped with Elbit System’s 105mm turret. Another chassis bought by the AFP is based on the Pandur II Chassis yet to be delivered, so no photos exist as of now.
M113 UT25 AIFV
→ M113 equipped with Elbit System’s UT25 turret.
LVT-H6 - FSV armed with M49 105mm howitzer
→ Proposal is for the ROC Marine Corps, but this was also in service with the Philippine Marines - famously photographed in the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution.
M113 FSV
→ Basically an M113 with an Alvis Scorpion Turret that is also done by the Australians afaik. Its quite similar to this proposal: Wan Cheng 2 FSV except that one is armed with a Chaffee Turret. I have not yet found a similar proposal either for the Australian or Philippine variants.
AIFV-25 / ACV-15
→ Im surprised there is no actual proposal for any version of this yet (hell theres not even a proposal for the original Dutch Variant - on that note, somebody for the love of god, make a proposal for this).
Spoiler
Marine Multi-Purpose Vehicle MMPV
→ Rumored to be a Mitsubishi Pajero heavily modified to look like a Humvee with a recoilless rifle at the back of it, used by the PH Marines.
Spoiler
Air/Helos
T-129B Atak
→ Basically the same version as is in the game. Turkey, Nigeria, and PH operate the type.
AW109AH LUH
→ Proposal could be for Malaysia because of its LOH designation. It is in service with Malaysia as a LOH but in PH it is designated as an Attack Helicopter (despite its lackluster armament). I included it here because I am unsure of the variant but WT should really implement Malaysia’s as it seems to be the variant able to actually equip anything other than unguided rockets.
AW159 Wildcat
→ Proposal is for the UK. ASW Helicopter in service with UK, ROK, & PH. ROK & PH Variants both are able to be armed with Spike NLOS ATGMs and K745 Blue Shark Torpedoes. Malaysia had planned to buy the type for ASW duties but Im not sure if the order went through.
FA-50PH
→ Currently, PH is the only nation that operates the FA variant of the T-50 Golden Eagle, though Malaysia did just order the type and deliveries are to be expected soon.
Navy
I will just relist the ones that I have already mentioned just to centralize everything:
Patrol Boat Q-111 “Luzon”
BRP Rajah Humabon
Jacinto-class corvette BRP Artemio Ricarte (PS-37) - Peacock of Modernization
These are also some that I think might be good:
Acero Class Patrol Gunboat
→ Although sadly, its not even mentioned in the Isreali Coastal Tech Tree, it is based on the Shaldag V Patrol Gunboat. Equipped with Spike NLOS, 30mm Bushmaster, and .50 cals - its quite the modern gunboat that works in the War Thunder environment. I am working on a proposal for this as of the moment.
Conrado Yap Class Corvette
→ Basically a Pohang Class Corvette, I think its lack of ASMs makes it quite suited for WT gameplay but Im not too sure. I like to think of it as just a bigger HMS Peacock in-game. Might be just too modern for comfort in the current state of naval in WT.
