Specially since they added fnf to all the major nations now and gave then force field that is not getting fixed in a billion year atleast give them proper Doppler effect

Atleast this will make them stick to the ground and maybe take splash damage as well right now they can just hover and kill all the spaa except manual one but now they gave fnf missiles to almost everyone now the problem is heli cannot be killed by ir nor by arh only option is either the tv guided or gun or atleast manual guided missiles like vt1

Guess I forgot to pay for the premium explosive, the one that comes with damage, and not only visual effects.
Finally got it to test on live and… first engagement i’m 100% unable to engage a helicopter that’s just… hovering 4.5km out. Actually painful to see.
also base CAMM horrifically over-leads leading to me missing LMUR (very easy targets!!)
Yep. Its the same trick that allowed Harriers to just ignore ARH. Hovering = notching
They need to give helis proper PD signatures from their rotor blades

Brilliant. So our “modern advanced SAM” has 30G missiles that can’t hit helicopters, can barely hit missiles and fixed wing jets (not at all if they dare to be below 60m altitude), and has less range than every other SAM added this update.
I expected them to fix all this on dev

I don’t think any of the new SAMs can damage drones right now. I heard SAMPT players complaining about it just as much.
Definitely doesn’t help that CAMM opts to just miss the drones half the time.

Upon further research, hovering helicopters are simply invisible to giraffe AMB. So that’s great.

I sure hope so… My current set of observations:
- cannot hit helicopters (and often can’t detect them)
- cannot hit drones (i have hit 1 drone by pure luck and i dont even know how, also often can’t detect them)
- can barely hit missiles
- can hit jets, but base CAMM is painfully kinematically weak making it pretty hard
- detection is inconsistent at best, with my radar failing to detect an su30 2km out at one point. I’m having CLAWS beat me to detection and engagement.
- hiding the vehicle is literally impossible, making anti air roles very difficult because the radar is operational for about 5 of every 30 seconds.
- the missiles still definitely do not pull 50G.
- oh yeah, and the launchers still can’t operate independently.
overall not a fan.
Also they appear to have broken the radar screen and it just fails to show anything sometimes. will get a clip if I can,

Also also, CAMM doesn’t exist in hit analysis and is still invisible, and TWS still just cannot establish a track on receding targets.
Unironically considering giving up until fixes are implemented.
Forgot to mention!!! anything that flies “vaguely low” can just hard counter the entire system, let alone just notching and dropping 1 chaff (or in the case of helicopters, just dropping 1 chaff because they’re magic.)
