15 minutes rewards cycle system needs to change
Yeah RP is not earned at a good rate in sim but its earned fast enough to be acceptable especially considering sim’s gameplay. That said, the SL you earn is miniscule in comparison to extreme spawn costs. Spawn costs should be made the same as RB or even less since you are expected to die about the same but the mode earns less…
I recently flew my 3.7 japanese planes.
Lobby was full. It had a healthy mix of newbies and veterans.
Both resfor and bluefor traded evenly and the match was undecided until the very end with both tickets draining constantly, bombers getting escorted and intercepted, reinforcements flying in to protect the tanks and spaa to prevent ticket loss.
People died in excess of 10 yet they did not leave but tried their damnedest to win.
I witnessed a similar battle with my p-51 mustang - the entire lobby focused on either killing an il2 groundpounding or protecting it. Nothing else mattered - save the ground troops!
Another p-51 game we cared not for dying as we flew in formation with bombers over the dover strait and had intense firefights and we kept trying again despite intense luftwaffe resistance.
I have never had anything like this in my f2h2 or sabres.
Do you know what happened in one of my last sabre games?
Lobby started healthy and we traded evenly fighting for an a point. It was fun.
Then redfor noticed bluefor was winning and started leaving the lobby once they hit 4 or 5 deaths. Within an hour we were like 6vs1. Not exactly a thrilling fight.
Another time in my f2h2 i experienced the opposite. There was a saggi 2 on redfor who kept killing my team. Suddenly i was the only bluefor in the lobby.
Why do you think this happens?
It happens because my p51 and ki64 or 44 cost 3-5k sl to spawn. The f2h2 costs 15k. The sabre 12k.
People cannot afford to actually play sim unless they got millions of sl stocked up in an actual conpetetive pvp oriented way. Dying 10 times over a 2 hour long battle is -150k sl and this means you failed to max out your 15 minute cycles so you likely failed to offset it so you end with -50k sl at the end of the game or so.
Tell me.
Which of the above scenarios is more fun? Which is healthier for the game mode?
A 2 hour lobby where both sides struggle, push and pull until the last ticket is taken…
Or a 20 minute lobby that turns into 1vsN as people leave the moment they notice they die as much as they kill?
I found many players leave because they care about their K/D ratio. Idk if it’s RB habit or not, I think it doesn’t matter in sim stats.
Try to get 6 months or year premium account on sale. This will make your gameplay comfortable. After all, we have f2p here.
Because once you die 3 times there is no point of playing even with premium. You are like 45k SL negative, 60k if you spawn 4 times. No point of playing that lobby any more since it will end with 0 SL in worst scenario and in best one you will have to waste like hour of perfect gameplay to get few thousand SL. Its better to enter new lobby and start over then continue playing old one.
You will still get RP.
The user continues to downplay and disregard commentary around the inability to make SL in sim even with a premium account.
RP doesn’t matter when you can’t buy the vehicles you are unlocking smart guy
How then do I buy everything while playing only in sim?
I get 100-300k SL with premium usually. Sometimes it’s zero, yes, but rarely.
What BRs are you playing, and how often are you spawning?
Even with 2 full UA cycles, I often am not able to pay for a 3rd spawn. If I play aggressive and actively search for dogfights, I often won’t be making a ton of SL just because the plane I play costs 2/3rd of a full UA cycle.

I haven’t noticed any drops for RB.
It’s because you practically do not play Air Sim and stick to Ground Sim which has a different economy system.
If you put up numbers like these at top tier and you do not have premium you will hemorrhage silver lions.

You are looking at 11-years old account. I played ground sim a lot years ago.
And when I play ground sim, I play it on low levels, like on Il-2 or PBJ. My reward there is 10-20k usually.

Look at my cursor. I am highlighting your Air Sim Battles for the past month. You spawned 37 times and died 32 times…that means there are a total of 5 times that you completed a sortie without being shot down or crashing. You also only killed 14 players total which works out to .38 per sortie and your AI frags are 2.5 per sortie.
A top tier plane costs around 10k - 15k SL to spawn. Your 32 deaths would cost you between 320,000 - 480,00 silver lions.
To put this in perspective…the non-premium useful actions SL multiplier for the Su-27 is 1730 silver lions per minute. That means you would have to maximize useful action for 277 minutes…or over 4.5 hours without dying in order to just break even. In order to maximize useful actions you need to score around 1000 points every 15 minutes…which equates to about 2 player kills.
I have actually more-or-less done this before.
This is 37 player kills in 1:47 minutes. 100% activity time.
Let’s do some math…350,000 SL earned - 105,000 Win Bonus = 245,000 SL w/ Premium Bonus of 1.5x
245,000 SL / 1.5x = 163,000 SL earned. You would have to play 3 games like this back-to-back-to-back in order to just reach the point where you were breaking even on SL if you were a top tier player.
Or we can look at in another way…me killing players is something that costs people silver lions. I killed 37 players…at a bare minimum of 10,000SL per plane…I cost people 370,000 silver lions in one game. For my effort…I would have received less than half the value of the planes that I destroyed.
Basically at this tier in the game…if you are playing planes and playing PvP…you will not earn silver lions faster than you can burn them. Top tier sim is a huge silver lions sink in a way that no other game mode is.
Or if we want to use another reference…I can earn about 1-2 million silver lions in 2 hours of playing Air RB. The rewards / time invested ratio in Air RB is far superior to sim. The only people who are efficiently grinding in sim are players that are doing PvE-only in mostly empty lobbies.
I was away from home for the month, played only a dozen of ground battles in a last couple days.
Can’t look at previous months stats, but belive me, I flew one or two full 2-hour sessions in Sim EC almost every day.
Playing PvE is not only about farm, but also about gameplay and fun. Especially for assault planes.
Also maximum of useful action isnt 100% but 82% acording to calculations so you get even less SL.
