You just provided proof of concept of what a disaster these nation sets are, have you considered that excluding 60% of the nations might hinder some people to fill up your game? And that doesn’t take into account the actual USA/USSR players that have no interest of being in a lobby that small. I for one never join those nation-set lobbies. It’s not going to be an enemy-rich environment
By the way, I just checked the 9.0-10.0 BR bracket, there’s 5 lobbies available with a total of 59 people. And you’re having to wait 45 minutes to get 2-3 to join? And that’s only what I can find with my USSR jets.
Maybe take the hint that people aren’t interested in your 2v2 nation lobby?
I really really dont understand how both teams can get both USA and Soviet Union in Air Simulator Battles.
It is really impossible for a relative new player to play without getting banned sadly.
It is easy to reach usefull action limit with PvE. Just destroy 4 ground vehicles and that is it. PvP is much harder since you can spent more then 15 minutes without finding anybody or getting any objective, and even then you have to kill 2-3 players without getting killed. On lower tier it is even worse where aircraft speeds are lower. I can reach that limit every time in Super Etendard with 2 250kg bombs and 54 rockets but you cant in F111 that has what like 50 bombs or several hundreds of rockets.
right. I’ve often argued with friends about this. our current maps are really inaccurate and bad. these were originally built for arcade. not suitable for SB.
but probably people here like feetpics think the arcade maps are so great. if I want even better maps now, I’ll probably destroy sim again. therefore I leave this wish to you

Fact we are forced into a pitchfork battlles with tanks and other vehicles designed to entirely different style of combat is different thought very important problem which needs to be addressed as well.

Unpopular opinion maybe, and of course one that is occasionally abandoned also by me if I want to unlock somecing I fancy, but most of the time I don’t even check how much I earned and researched, and measure my success more in the fun I had.
Im the same, I think there is certainly room for refinement where useful actions is concerned, but I’d rather take other improvements like more missions instead
when I played the silent hunter 4 submarine sim 10 years ago, the whole pacific was one big map. this would be a good template for a big pacific war sim. with first person naval forces, air forces and ground forces. due to the huge distances but without zeitraffer function not suitable as pure pvp. but rather as single player or coop.
As a high level player, yeah… we don’t see much of the effect of useful action especially if you have Premium. But any f2p player that doesn’t have 30mio SL as a reserve and is still researching aircraft can tell you that it is a huge pain when flying SB exclusively.
At some point during an EndCon it’s simply no longer viable to keep playing if you’re playing against a coordinated team while your own is disorganised.
The SL bleed is especially discouraging because it doesn’t matter if you actually manage to kill more than 2 players in a row since it doesn’t add any more SL after that to the current UA cycle.
So yeah, it might not affect you. But it sure as hell affects others and is therefore an important topic.
