Man, I really love you when you rationalise yourself with those puny ‘Attacker’ classification by Gaijin.
You played the same goddamn card when we argued with AV-8B(NA) or F-5, just to exclude SHAR FRS.1, which is an Air-Defence Naval Fighter jet IRL, but Gaijin classified it as a strike aircraft even though SHAR carries NO guided munitions, which ‘Regular’ strike aircrafts in nearby BR carry.
Oh well, anyway, I cannot wait to see recorded footage of 1v1 between you and Lein.
the do-335 at 4.3 should be 4.7, it’s an amazing fighter.
the only disadvantae it actually has its an inability to mount 20mils, but it can mounts bombs compared to the A-0.

As silly as Gajin’s designations are, they do have a form of order. I really hope you’re not tryna say the Sea Harrier and F-15E are good airframes.
The fights against RDX went abit better, Leina is far more skilled than me. I do think I coulda won a few of the fights early on but I wasn’t confident in my aim.

About Sea Harrier, yeah, she has a bad airframe in ‘War Thunder’ thanks to Gaijin’s British hatred.
You know… she even punched F-15’s ass in those training flights IRL…
And for F-15E, well, she might be outclassed by those 4.5th Gen such as Rafale, but it doesn’t mean that F-15E has the same level of fuselage as ‘traditional strike aircraft’ such as A-10/A-7 does. Right?
Anyway, I brought SHAR and F-15E just to argue against your ‘trust about Gaijin’s classification’
So, further arguing about those would be a derailment.
Then back to normal, do you still believe that F8F-1(4.7) is a worse F6F-5(3.3)?

really shows how insane the low speed power of this thing is.
For its BR, i’d say its airframe is pretty comparable to the likes of the Harrier.
I never said it’s worse. The F6F itself is one of the worst planes for anything outside of ground pounding.
Hmm… AFAIK, I thought F-15E were best 4th gen fighter in airframe until EFT and Rafale showed up.
Anyway, we need to consider that this topic is about the F8F-1, so we might cut the chatter.

I did not call the F8F worse, I called it worse turning. The Fw 190 D-9 turns worse than the F8F, but the plane itself is far from worse.
Either I suck with the D-9 or I just had bad luck but I hardly get even a singe kill with it per match while with the F8F I got a lot more.
Yesterday I got 5 kills and set a D-13 on fire with my last couple of rounds (around 30) before I had to RTB. He put it out but was chased by a P-47 who finished him off.
In my book the D-9 is pretty much a worse La-7 but somehow at 5.0.
Or I should probably I say the the La-7 is somehow 4.7.
In one match a guy in D-9 tried to BNZ me in my Yak-3 but the moment he run out of energy he headed to his airfield, then complained about my undertiered Yak-3.
But hey, if the Yak-3 was 5.0 like a 1944 D-9, the D-9 would still kinda suck.
I mean after cannons were buffed to hit like 30mm and 20mm Mineshells have not a single advantage over regular explosive shells, the BRs didnt change despite previously weakly armed Soviet planes doing worse due to their inability to kill quickly.
Now, more cannons are not useful anymore and just give you a higher BR for the same airframe.
