Yeah, it is actually. Maybe you are lucky to not experience this but I’ve got some comically stupid videos of the SARH missiles not following their target and going into oblivion. I even had one turn 180 on me. I’ve brought that up here in the forums a few times.

I did understand from your previous reply that it has happened to you. For some of us this is a constant issue. I’m getting maybe 1 out of every 15-20 sparrows to do it’s job. It’s really pissing me off. I don’t like IR at all but I am resorting to AIM-9 a lot more now.

It’s occuring constantly for me. I do not get consistent hits, I do get consistent misfires and abnormal behavior. This is observed when there is no logical reason. Such as 10km straight line targets in PD mode. The missiles will just slam into the ground or make drastic arks into nowhere. That’s a consistent and constant bug for me.
Unfortunately, I also make those post mistakes frequently as well. I try to come clean them up for clarity when I realize.
This is also commonly observed on R-27ER as well.

no, because downtiers to 11.3 is where F15 has any use, on 12.7 it would be at a constant disadvantage
my aim7f just recently ingored the locked target completely, and went on to kill a different player
so what im hearing is it needs to be 12.3 so it can down tier and club phantoms and mig21s and can’t go to 12.7 as it would have to fight thing that present a challenger aka something that is it equivalent

Yeah, I dusted off the Phantom FG1 recently and had some Skyflash miss what I would have thought would be relatively easy shots. (Good lock (including in PD), at alt, target appearing to fly straight at me)

I’ve only experienced that once in RB. I dropped lock and scored a TK. I think after lock was dropped it self converted into an IR haha
The F-15A is still a very competent fighter and absolutely deserves 12.7.
It’s 100% better than the 11.3s that it faces, and honestly you’re not gonna do much against an Eagle in the F-4S/J

nah, planes at current 12.7 are all better than f15, it should stay at 12.3

You know the mig29g at 12.7 has worse radar and fm and carries less missiles
The F15s should of moved up shame so many US players tanked its win rates

it has 2 less missiles but they are much much better and HMD
also it doesnt matter if it has worse radar, they are decent enough already.
