2S25M is an autoloader… it uses a system similar to T-72 and the like.
Irrelevant of that, if you have problems with Type 90 while using one of the best 10.3 MBTs in the game, that’s a massive skill issue. Try the CR1 Mk2 and Mk3 for once. Tanks at 9.7 can lolpen their armor and drive circles around them. In reverse.
Yeah, getting upteired sucks. Just change the strategy and change your play style. I’ve found that saying less does a bit more and just try to find a way to cope.
Yeah, that happens sometimes. Just gotta push through. I had this happen, and held off an entire team until they CAS’d me and a T-55AM-1 flanked me. It’s all about the mentality. Staying covert and moving your position helps a lot.
I see, you have a point. Although I am usually the last one alive right around that time and getting pushed by several tanks and Air. Not a great experience tbh, but I try to take one down with me.
I was in an urban setting, and holding a pinch point, that’s the best place to stay, one way in, one way out, they have to come to you to end the battle, it’s the easiest way, and using little dumb bits of knowledge always helps. I hope you good luck!
IMO I would say that you can change your playstyle if you want just to try new things, I think both of those tanks play the same way, like GlassCannons. Try to play more passive, holding angles or flanking to see what suits you better, not brawling tho.
I have both tanks but for the br I prefer the 2a4, feels easier to play and jm33 and 4sec reload feels like isn’t enough if you get uptiered to 12.0 vs BVMs. Good luck.
All of them had armor, do consider in the game a lot of the tanks are fighting tanks they were not designed to engage. Chi-To’s and Chi-Ri’s were always meant to fight at a long distance against short barrel 75mm Shermans. At the distance, these tanks would be firing from, would have no problem piercing the Shermans. Meanwhile, the Shermans would have difficulties hitting their target unless it is 76mm.
Ho-NI III, Chi-Nu and Chi-Nu II were stopgaps. If it was going through a tight alleyway the Ho-Ni III and Chi-Nu would have been utilized. The Nu-II would not.
For later Japanese tanks the same principle meant to be fighting at a distance. But in the game, they were fighting tanks they were never meant to fight. The case of armor is because Japanese terrain is very soft. If they put anything heavier than something within 40 to 50 tons is the limit before it starts bogging down in the dirt making it difficult to be unstuck. This is what happened to a lot of Sherman tanks in the Pacific were primarily lost to bogging down. Another thing is that Japanese tanks were meant to be rapid meaning getting it on the ground as fast as possible, for the US we produced ships specialized to transport them, the Japanese didn’t want to bother since that would strain their supply lines.
This does not mean I agree with the Type-90 and Type-10 being down-tiered due to inadequate armor. I’m just stating basic Japanese tank doctrinal historical facts. Which certain bad actors above don’t understand.
oh yeah I know all that, the reason for the Type 90s lack of armour is because it needed to be light enough to go across many Japanese bridges that heavier tanks like a leopard 2 couldn’t.
I am not arguing that it needs to drop to 10.7, but it definitely doesn’t need to be uptiered to 11.3 let alone 11.7 (which is what it’d need to be to not be matched with 10.3s in a downtier anymore), because It just cannot compete with the tanks at those BRs. its fine at 11.0, it doesn’t need to move in either direction
Not saying they needs to go to 11.3 or something like that, but in a downtier they’re monsterous, a lot more so than any M1IP or M1A1 ever were.
Tanks at 10.3 have legit no chance if a Type 90/TKX (P) has more than 2 braincells. In fact I’d say 9.3s have much better chances against 10.3s than those vehicles have against Japanese 11.0s, but hey, I do enjoy a bit of clubbing so I’ll take it :)
That goes without saying, but do remember the loading speed is compensating for lack of many things, mainly armour.
Your point also brings up another important detail about the community in general; minor nation vehicles tends to receive a much higher BR rating because of better players using it, and Japan is a prime example of such scenario (referring to the Chi Nu examples above)
Have you considered you’re just really bad at the game? I quickly came to this conclusion Especially after you said you can’t do much frontally to tanks in an uptier at 10.0+
Because it proves my point entirely. I also think its funny you skipped through this entire thread and just said the most factually incorrect statement from a troll account. Nice.
