T-80UA Russian MBT that was accepted into service in 2005, basically was T-80U tank with overall improved FCS and Shtora system. Prototype had PN-5 NVG for gunner, while serial tanks, just like serial T-80U-E1 recieved Plisa 2nd gen thermal.
Hopefully gonna end up in tech tree after T-80U and before T-80BVM at 12.0 with 3BM60, really dont like how only 1 T-80U rn is TT with all other being not.

Due to the SLM being shown in the trailer, I decided to make an updated suggestion for the Umkhonto GBL. Can fire Umkhonto-IR (Block 1 12km, Block 2 15km, Block 3 20km, although the “Block” designation isnt used by Denel), Umkhonto-EIR with 30km range and Umkhonto-R with 35km range, as well as being radar guided and also having an IR seeker.
It needs a seperate truck too like the SLM, with the radar either being a SAAB Giraffe AMB or a Reutech RSR 320
Here we go for a suggestion for an Aster 15 launcher since it’s good for the SLM
Yes, it looks like they will add a towing radar. I hope it will be a SAM for the US.
Space is the solution to the SAM problem
It should be, well not the version i showed, the model in the trailer is a joint project with the US and Norway. Kongsberg developed the majority of the system so its surprising they are only giving it to the US. I guess the better version can come at a later date, honestly im just happy to see it.
The missile (the Aster 15 obviously) would not be too strong compared to the SLM. However, the radar is a little powerful, but just a little
Aster 15 in ground ? are you sure, and as far i get when i googled this image it was an aster 30.
The DGA has tested it several times but in theory they would just like to use the Aster 30 because the missile is just better.

Afterwards, I don’t have many sources that talk about it. But it seems possible.
15 and 30 are very similar, but can be distinguished by booster length
Although you’re right, i’m not sure SAMP/T carries Aster 15, i thought it was only for ships
Fair enough if it’s carried
Although i’m going to call BS on the 30km range. On a 310kg missile and considering the Aster 15 NG is claimed to be 60km, i’m going to guess it’s an other instance of MBDA understating the real range
Well i guess if you have source about it it would be great then, because when i searched on internet i couldn’t find an aster 15 being used by a samp/t it was always aster 15 for sea and only aster 30 used by it.
I have to admit that I’m starting to have doubts. I have an article that talks about it, but not much more. I’m going to continue to find out a little more to be sure.
especially considering the rather poor missile count on MICA VL (4 per launcher)
It will eventually be upgraded to 8 from what i understood but yeah…
on MICA VL ?
i wasn’t aware of that, would you happen to have some kind of source, couldn’t find info on it last i checked
