I mean considering the vehicles added in those subtrees, it mostly ends up being the case anyway
France has more F-16 than the US now if i’m not mistaken, which is quite meh, both for France AND the US trees

Its an indirect way of saying that someone is ungreatfull for a good thing happening, and in this case the Eagle II is “too good” and overkill for their use case.
Yeah, makes scense. If the Austrian Military would buy it, our people would just crash out, becouse how expensive and absurd it is to buy a multi role plane to unly use as a interceptor with small amount of missles.
With the XL now Israel-USA-French have 5
I do wonder what with ground forces. As it is just a upgraded optics 2a4, same armor and gun. I personally would just upgrade the armor by installing armor packs like the 2a4M, 5, or 6, idk what got upgraded from 2a4.
do you know what day today is?
Yes, this is pretty much the core issue I have with the current system. If only a handful of gap-filler vehicles are added, the subtree gets very little representation and becomes little more than a collection of miscellaneous vehicles. However, adding enough vehicles to properly represent a nation takes up space that could otherwise go to domestic designs from the main tree and increases the grind for players who just aren’t interested in the subtree.
This is why I think subtree folders are the best solution. They give the main tree more room for domestic vehicles while allowing subtrees like the Netherlands to have a proper mini tree of unique and copy-paste vehicles. Players can grind through the subtree if they’re interested or simply ignore it if they’re not. And this would still achieve Gaijin’s goal of giving players more lineup options while benefiting both sides.
and to be clear I also really enjoy the French tree alongside my love for Benelux vehicles, and I’d like to see regular French additions resume after quite a drought, After all, there’s a reason I grinded into the top 500 to get the AMX-50 Surblindé back in 2019.
As a Dutchman, yes, I can confirm
Like always it come back to RR&Ds holy grail:
70-90% of all issues with all sub-trees would be fixed with this.
Not enough room, now in its own tree, don’t want to grind host or sub vehicle good news you don’t, etc.
Who in their right mind would suggest the F15EX to be a possible candidate for the EFT successor??? We are barely willing to buy and maintain a couple of second hand Black Hawks.
almost to the lucky number :D
You don’t need to spam mention him, it’s the weekend and they’re not here. Anyone else can tell you that there is always the possibility for more vehicles for all nations, not just Greece. Take a look at aircraft/ground/naval suggestions section, plenty of content for them to work with there.
Successor is a stretch, it would have been more like a much more capable Tornado than a replacement of Eurofighter.
to many beer and pretzel i guess. Bevore we bought the Saab 105XT, we USA and the Soviet Union offerd us entire devision of planes for free! F86 and MiG 17! And we said no and bought 105XTs! Crazy!
who is we?
Both the Greek and Israeli M-346 are unarmed. The Israeli M-346 has been seen with inert weaponry however, but that’s it.

More like 90% if we also consider @Bergebis’s mention of a suggestion of letting players choose which subtree to pair a nation with (with limits ofcourse). That could finally put an end to the endless debate over where Switzerland should go, since it has strong ties to both France and Germany. There’s no real way to satisfy both sides without splitting the Swiss tree, which would be a big no-no for me. As i really don’t want another Canada 2.0 treatment.

Just checked your Bio…
you checked this out yet?: J35OE Mk2: The upgraded austrian Draken!
(I want this plane so badly, every vote counts)
Welcome to the Club!
Why?
Eh. With how the folder rework is set up mixing and matching nation don’t work as it is just another tab, like air, ground and naval is. Just because it’s reusing features in game. So the host a sub-tree is attached to is still the only tree it can be joint with. (Plus some problems nations will push to be able to use vehicles from a nation it has no claim to, and whenever they bring up they should have that nation people from said nation tell them no.)
But also if we mix and match sub-trees might as well also allow for it to be down the same with the main nations. And at that point, every line up will just be the meta op vehicles. So I don’t support that system in any way.
Nobody wants a Canada 2.0, every Canadian and ANZAC player(pre-Aussie sub) made it clear how bad our treatment is. But at the same time with the requirements for sub-trees to get additions they host seem to want it as they get the same thing from the sub-tree being treated like Canada.(Filling one off gaps)
To be fair, he knows the forum exists and where to find them. So if he wants to he can always come here to refute, but it’s quite bvious that he won’t and why not.
I have always theorized that he is just yet another aversge player that likes to hide behind “muh French players are universally better players”. Reddit gives him perfect privacy, if he were to post here he would have to give up that privacy.
