I think it could be possible only if there were a single big nation in WT)
hang on you say that but yet this game starts at WW2 or just before, So by that logic we should get Australia. Since modern day only covers what 25% if that ?
there was two incomplete 111Ks. once again there’s plenty of stuff that didn’t even get that far that’s in game
All of which should be promptly removed as there is no proof those could have even flown
Australian become dominion 1901, yes full independent in 1986 but it was effectively it’s own country with some British influence, alliance between US and Australia has been around since WW2 which like you said is about where game starts
I think gaijin needs to move towards implementing Copy and Paste designs at the same Time as original designs of the same role.
Say with M44, for UK a domestic option should’ve been added with the M44 directly added to it.
This of course, is something that i could see being possible if gaijin switched to a less straining 4 patches a year.
nah i like seeing stupid prototype stuff provided its accurate to its designs, it it was laid down its fair game
If they had any components built specifically for them then they have the criteria to be added
" In War Thunder, the percentage of modern-day tech across all vehicle trees is difficult to quantify exactly because the game spans a wide range of historical periods, from the early 20th century up to the modern era. However, a general breakdown of the vehicles in the game can provide some insight.
Here’s an approximate breakdown by category:
- Early to Mid-20th Century (World War II and Post-WWII):
- The majority of the game is still focused on World War II, the Cold War, and some early post-Cold War conflicts. This includes tanks, planes, and ships from the 1930s to the 1970s.
- Countries like Germany, the USA, the Soviet Union, and the UK have a significant amount of content from the World War II era, and even in the post-WWII period, vehicles tend to be from the 1940s to 1960s.
- Modern Tech (1970s to Present):
- Modern-day tech, which refers to vehicles from the 1970s and beyond, is more limited. The most modern vehicles in the game are typically tanks, aircraft, and helicopters from the 1970s to the 2000s (like the M1 Abrams, Leopard 2, MiG-29, etc.).
- The game has gradually introduced more modern tech, especially with the introduction of late Cold War tanks, supersonic jets, and modern helicopters. Still, the number of such vehicles is a smaller fraction of the total.
- Estimates:
- Roughly 15-20% of the vehicles in War Thunder could be classified as “modern-day” (1970s and beyond), including modern tanks, aircraft, and naval units.
- 80-85% of the vehicles are from earlier periods, especially from WWII and the Cold War.
This percentage is continually shifting as the game updates, with Gaijin regularly adding new vehicles from more modern eras. However, World War II and early Cold War tech still make up the vast majority of the vehicle trees in War Thunder."
And up here too
Laid down is only for naval, 111K outright never flew, was never done, and for game purposes did not exist
Bro couldn’t even be bothered to argue with such a arbitrary take he just switched into GPT mode lol.
They definitely could slow down on the major updates.
Ok what does this prove? I agreed that wt starts WW2 and has a lot of WW2 stuff
Better than going thought thousands of vehicles and days of maths for an internet argument
The game would be much more fleshed out.
As long as any dictated part was built it’s a real vehicle for WT.
So, no the F-111K does not, not exist as it had dedicated parts built for it.
agreed. Id love for panther 2 to be re-added (but accurate D turret not smalturm) and more silly things like the FV215b (yes it had parts built its not a WoT fakie) added to spice up trees that are lacking.
This proves that your using a claim that only effects 20% of the era that you claim has more meaning even though it’s a small area of the game in relativity
If you are gonna claim my comment as off topic then do everyone
Did Gaijin shoot down the FV?
No, it’s not subjective. If the role it plays in the tree can be done so with an indigenous vehicle, it’s unnecessary.
