Speaking of being fast on water
ZTD-05 (can go 15-16 knots on water)
Gaijin when
Gszabi wdym FGR4??? I kinda hope this is true so the uk can dominate for a couple years like the f14 did
wym wild claim? What’s new about them?
Stealth? Already done before.
Supersonic? Nothing special by 1990.
Supercruising? Nope.
Modern weapons? Nuh uh.
Thrust vectoring? Ever heard of the Harrier or even the Osprey?
Weapon bays? Well, I can’t think of anything that put air to air missiles into those before the Raptor prototypes, so I guess there is that…
It’s the F. Mk. 2.
Yeah, but what about putting them all together
With the Kfir C.10 confrimed as the next Event Aircraft major prize, here’s a list and the variants of the modern Kfir related to it that that we could end up seeing in the future or alongside this! Hope this basic guide will inform some of you (and the gaijin devs what they could have chosen over the most broken Kfir possible for an event vehicle).
The “Kfir 2000”
(Israeli Prototype 🇮🇱)
The predecessor to the Kfir C.10, which is practically equal to the Kfir C.10s of the export market by all measures, however it can’t use later Derby and Python variants as its limited to the Python 4/3, Aim-9G, and only the standard Derby ARH missile. It has LGBs and a targeting pod, a modern multimodal radar, digital RWR, and (likely, as the C.10 did) double the amount of CMs as the Kfir C.7. Quite nice having one of these modern Kfir with Israeli roundels! Visit Surbaissemaxxing’s suggestion to learn more about it!
Projected BR: 13.0-13.3
The Kfir C.12
(Colombia 🇨🇴)
Essentially a Kfir C.7 that was upgraded to Kfir C.10 standards, yet lacks the modern radar, and thus lacks radar guided missiles. I don’t know much about this, but I presume it would be a Python 4 slinger and that’s about it.
Projected BR: 12.7-13.0
The Kfir C.10
(Ecuador 🇪🇨/Colombia 🇨🇴)
This Kfir was an export variant of the aircraft, featuring everything the Kfir 2000 has. Compared to the Kfir 2000, it has more modern weapons, mainly in terms of air to air. Some later used variants of this aircraft equipped the Python 5, I-Derby, and I-Derby ER (as well as potentially more modern bombs). Known as The “Kfir CE” in Ecuador service
Ecuadorian Kfir:
Colombian Kfir:
Projected BR: 13.0-13.3
The Kfir TC.10
(Colombia 🇨🇴)
Twin seater C.10 basically. I don’t know much about this aircraft, should be nigh identical to the standard Kfir C.10 minus discrepancies in flight performance.
Projected BR: 13.0-13.3
The one we will be getting:
The Kfir C.10 Block 60
(Colombia 🇨🇴)
Even further modernized Colombian Kfir C.10, featuring an even more advanced AESA radar, Python 5s, and I-Derby ERs among many other things! Latest of the latest (other than recently announced Kfir NG). Visit Surbaissemaxxing’s suggestion to learn more about it!
Projected BR: 13.3-13.7
Sidenote:
This aged well :P
Man, gaijin can be stupid sometimes… look at all these other options… (idc much really, I’m super hyped for an Israeli event vehicle! Meanwhile we still don’t have a single ground event vehicle besides a battle pass Sholef lmaooo)
yall have such an atrocious sense of time. The F-14A was best in class for 3 updates
Is Rafale C more modern than Eurofighter Tranche 1?
Then you get 2 extremely similar prototypes that didn’t differ all too much from the finished product
Ive said it before but ill say it again if this thing gets added with AESA and I dont see the F-2A im going to be LIVID
F-2A =/= Kfir
Stealth on a fighter was new, yf-23 didn’t have thrust vectoring, super cruising at mach 1.72 is still crazy to this day, and weapons bay was done before for missiles on production aircraft but not like on the YF-22/23
Weapons were pretty new at the time, amraam in service 1991 and YF-23 flew in 1991
The gnat show be in the british tree and the ajeet shoukd be in the indian tree.
Did you just have a stroke?
Despite that, I don’t see how an F-2A addition would be unreasonable at this point, with the Rafale and Eurofighter coming.
The only reason they refuse to add it IS the AESA we already have all its weapons its flight performance will be good but we’re probably getting the Typhoon for crying out loud there is literally 0 reason not to add the F-2 if that thing gets added with AESA
its a really good aircraft mate its a total shame that is not a TT vehicle having what it have that would fill a technological gap in the tree but its seems that gaijin prefers the most unique vehicles made by israel out of the research tree as always.
Apparently
I mean I didn’t dispute that, but in regards to the original message. Comparing the two planes is a little bit comical
Gaijin doing gaijin things lmaooo
