F-2A =/= Kfir
Stealth on a fighter was new, yf-23 didn’t have thrust vectoring, super cruising at mach 1.72 is still crazy to this day, and weapons bay was done before for missiles on production aircraft but not like on the YF-22/23
Weapons were pretty new at the time, amraam in service 1991 and YF-23 flew in 1991
The gnat show be in the british tree and the ajeet shoukd be in the indian tree.

Despite that, I don’t see how an F-2A addition would be unreasonable at this point, with the Rafale and Eurofighter coming.

The only reason they refuse to add it IS the AESA we already have all its weapons its flight performance will be good but we’re probably getting the Typhoon for crying out loud there is literally 0 reason not to add the F-2 if that thing gets added with AESA

its a really good aircraft mate its a total shame that is not a TT vehicle having what it have that would fill a technological gap in the tree but its seems that gaijin prefers the most unique vehicles made by israel out of the research tree as always.

It’s only really being held back from being implemented simply for having an AESA radar. If the new Kfir comes with one, then surely we won’t be too far away from it.

F-2A will fly like F-16 with slightly worse energy retention but better instantaneous turn rate.
Otherwise you get an AESA radar which Gaijin said they won’t model the differences between PESA or AESA so…

Itd be similar since its lighter with basically the same engine no?
Prediction, YF-22 or 23 with F-2A June update, along with super hornet and AESA F-15C, and SEPv3

Similar engine and what seems to be the same airframe, just 50% larger
F-2A has 25% larger wing area and larger horizontal stabilizers.
It is slightly heavier than a F-16C.
It is somewhat similar to the Agile Falcon but not entirely.
