Actually in WT personal skill means a lot. Good player can win a battle, turn the tide, outplay a bunch of average players. So follow you logic with new aiming it’s way easier to win if you good, cause aiming is easier and need no brain when all in gameplay is aiming and shooting, if it not like that then now game is harder?
There always gonna be “angry customers” so what, game shouldn’t change cause of that?
I’m was much more angry on mode stagnation for the last couple of years. Now i have some hope for the changes.
Well we gathered to play airsoft, paying subcription to the club, bought shiny weapons and accessories and booked the field.
Now I am all dressed up and upon joining I am suddenly in a LASER_TUG game.
To make things even worse they did so sloppy work that the AI still thinks is playing airsoft.
Ohh maps are build for airsoft!
Omg the weapons are also broken!!
Even the way they treat you when you are reporting game breaking bugs is really offensive.
These bugs should not pass to live servers, period.
So yea this is a post of angry customers and their policy of putting it under the rug is not making it go away.
The funny thing is the recent WWI event was about guns lobbing shells over the hills. The total opposite of what we have now in Naval. If your gunner had a clear/unobstructed field of view, the tank would be shot in no time by enemy player sitting behind a hill and using binoculars, that your gunner would not see. That event was ‘lob a shell over the hill’ fest.
I dunno, I see exact same matches most of all, like nothing changed. Few people doing a lot others like from another planet. Not always ofcourse, but in same proportions as before an update. I guess you know Russian proverb that suits well :D
Like you know, this works in both ways. They still swim straight even after hits, despite maneuvering and firing now is much easier, and if mediocre player could miss first salvo or two at them, now they just get annihilated
i didn’t say that all seals born knowing how to use a gun, but before change they were with wobbling noddle swords versus those who mastered art of gun-fu aka. (skrs and m-802)
i notice that players in average achieve higher results in both dmg and points(and this with aiming partially broken), sure it’s not all thank to aiming but other changes too.
yeah in that part it’s true. But still not by that high as I was first thinking.
Personally, I’m ok with new system. Doesn’t changed a lot in terms of results, pretty much the same. Maybe yeah, a bit more comfortably, but some things are worse. Especially coastal engagements in higher tiers went much more chaotic. But it is also crazy bots ammoracking you with 1st hit (yo Pr. 12412) while u are fighting players playing huge role in this worsening.
As Naval ARCADE Gameplay sits now, it is unplayable. Playing this mode is a waste of time now. Go back and install the previous version of Arcade gameplay. This way if snail wants to try something new which should be tested, at least players can play instead of driving them away from naval arcade game mode.
what exatly you dislike, probably you aren’t aware that currently aiming system is bugged? or you don’t like new system as a whole so much?
Not getting bug into account it is definitely not unplayable and totally not a waste of time, still great SL farmsource, probably even more than before. It is more a matter of taste, someone likes, someone no, another doesn’t care at all (like me)
last year first buff on bluewater was the instant targetting time - results in a nerf of coastals
the aimbot update again buffed bluewater and coastals this time - resulting in a nerf of planes.
So you are right - the only ones which have no nerfs are the bluewater players
If a similar update would be applied to ground (edit: realistic) would result in a laser rangefinder for every tank and a radar equipment for every SPAA
I assume the pilots would start revolting…
But you literally have that in ground AB for a decade.
Sure ability to easy aim and hit modules of DD like turrets and other stuff with 40mm+ from 4+ km it’s and ability to hit precise without rangefinder for all small boats guns is a nerf for costal.
I don’t know why you are insisting into this narative, having guns is irrelavant, nobody complains about doubling their frags or doubling their damage.
All the post are complaining that hunting incocent seals in the ice is just too easy and not fun.
Angry customers have put this game back on track many times!
They have force them to correct the grinding.
They have force them to give meaning to premium bonus.
They have force them to correct the repair costs.
I can continue but you don’t need a history lesson.
Don’t be innocent use your gun and brain to survive and score.

Form my perspective there was only one successful revolt and it was cause of cumulative effect of constant grind hardening which went for years before the revolt. Now you all pacified with some changes, but grind keep hardening now you have infinite marathons ongoing for less rewards taking 2+ more times, you have BP with 2 meaningful prizes instead of 4 which last longer. You have 80%+ RP for time in game, not for actual actions. You got tons of clones. You think community won ? I think it was barely a pyric victory.
Revolts are irrelevant, they are a company and angry customers are bad for bussiness.
And since you mentioned Battle passes, I agree with you, most of my team and friends stop buying them.
So you see a bad product=disapointed customers=problem for company.
you think playing or stop playing in 3.0- costal where newbies are dwell(like you and many other who complain here and in other treads) any noticeable?
