Move the J35XS back to 10.7

I’m not defending the J35XS placement, but the problem should be tackled at its source, and that’s BR compression.

If we move top tier to 14.7 or higher, we get a much needed breathing room to balance other things down low

How is he pedantic? the problem is correct. BR at 9.3 - 11.3 is very compressed and it need decompression, moving around doesn’t change anything and he correctly identify the solution while you waffle around and made an argument dumb enough to admit you into state asylum and disqualify you from future draft in case an apocalyptic alien invasion forces every able bodied individual to fight for the planet.

That is a general issue. To give an American analogy, it’s like seeing a homeless guy begging on the street, walk up to him, and yelling “Homelessness is a problem in this country! Giving you food won’t change the problem!”. Homeless guy then punches you for being a jerk.

What I am saying is, that is off-topic. Go advocate for decompression in another thread. If you consider even momentarily the context of this thread, you will realize your post is positioned against the J35XS going up. That is to say, your intention and the result do not match.

Sure it can go up. whether it’s gonna get fucked by MiG-23 is just a problem for another day for you isn’t it?

Oh, I see. You are simply opposed to it going up. In that case argue with everyone else in this thread, and not me exclusively. Also, make actual arguments instead of whatever nonsense this is.

The J35XS might have issues fighting Mig-23s, but by that same argument the 9.7 premiums should go down to 9.0 because they suffer fighting the J35XS at 10.3.

10.3 is too low for a supersonic aircraft with 6x half decent AAMs, a half decent FM and actually 12 flares, more than many when it gets a downtier.

Sure it would be DOA at 11.0 where it probably should actually be when looking at downtiers, but 10.7 would be fine for it and would place it onpar with things like the F-5C

If it goes up its get fucked, at it’s current placement its killing flareless left and right, at this point if it need to go up it better goes up with every single addition it has in the service of Ilmavoimat before it can go up again.

That or just remove this shit altogether and give Sweden J35Ö at 11.0 because XS is in a very stupid place right now.

idk about this. this plane can turn sure but it cant really dogfight like F-5 or have dogfight capable gun like F-5. it’s saving grace is 6 9J and even then it’s a very dodgeable missile in the grand scheme of things.

That said, this plane can definitely go up to 10.7, of course with many of it’s missing equipment added.

Sure, if it can gets buffs too then all for it, but I would still say that its better for the J35XS to have a rough time in a full uptiers but still do well at all other times than it is to curb stomp in pretty much every match.

Now I do not play those 9.3/9.7 aircraft anymore in ARB because I got fed up of the uptiers to 10.3 and 10.7. But I cant imagine trying to fight something like a J35XS in a Hunter FGA9 or similar.

Subsonic, no CMs and 2x Aim-9Es vs supersonic, with CMs and 6x Aim-9Js. That is a one sided fight.

(I also think the F-5 needs either a BR increase or a healthy nerf at some point)

oh yeah. sitting at 10,7 is just right for draken, my issue stays with the fact that a lot of its belongings are practically gone swallowed by the wind, hence why I prefer if they use Austrian draken with 9P5 at 12.3 to compensate with the IRCCM missile it got instead of Finnish draken which is practically blind and sit in the schrodinger broken status where it either struggle as shit or breeze through everything.

speaking of Hunter I think it’s due for britain (or China for lulz) to get Singaporean Hunter with 4 AIM-9G and Avionics and CM upgrades. F.58 need some competitions and F.74 is definitely up there.

They wont ever change a premium into an entirely different premium and increase its BR 2 full points.

Yeah… would be nice if Britain got a good Hunter. So far the best are in French and German trees (especially in ASB where the Hunter F1 and Hunter F6 are the same BR)

they can always do the good ol delist - add new, nobody gonna hurt much from losing XS in favour of O.

That is entirely different. Sure, they could add the Austrian J35 at an entirely different BR either as TT or premium as an alternative option but that wont have any affect on the J35XS.

And it would be nice if it wasn’t a damn premium/event. though I think premium rank 7 hunter at 10.3/10.7 (Alphajet late BR is 10.7 with alphajet FM) with 4 AIM-9G would sell like hotcakes it gonna give ayit a new competition.

I always seen XS as stopgap premium where they would introduce better draken. turns out they want to keep the shitty draken shitty. well what could i do.

For that for Britain, a Hawk would be better.

Sure would love the Oman or Singapore Hunter, but there are other options. 4x 9Gs on a subsonic at 10.7 would suck when a Hawk with 2x 9Ls (or 4x 9Ls or even 4x 9Ls and 2x Skyflash) is available

Hawk would also be an excellent addition for the Finnish TT too.

eeeh…

Hawk 200 with 4 AIM-9L. 11.0

But it shouldn’t have been 10.3 in the first place, it did fine at 10.7 1 year ago, back then F14 was 11.7. It never belonged to 10.3 so the ‘compression’ argument doesn’t apply, that applies to most aircrafts and will benefit everyone, but this is just a case that is not influenced by compression at all.
