😭 wow
Its hands down the first jet id move.
Those missiles hit no matter what if they choose to.
Game has no balance at all.
All planes in the 10.0-10.3 that have “near unavoidable” missiles, are supersonic, and have flares should go up back to 10.7 with maybe an exception or two. It’s not fair fighting these 10.3 planes in a 9.3 plane with 10g missiles, no flares, and worse performance. Once that is done the 9.3/9.7 that are oppressive can be moved up like the t2.
Mate, if you cannot dodge an AIM 9J, that’s on you. I hate pulling out the skill issue card, but that’s the only thing that describes dying to a AIM 9J
No !
That is on you, if u can, demonstrate it. 9J is impossible to dodge unless they are fired from 1. too far away or 2. bad angles. Even 9E are hard to dodge if u utilise the off axis well.
Also a reminder 9.3 still fields MiG17. If u wanna try, I won’t mind.
Mate, I don’t play those BRs. Haven’t played it loyally since they put the Saab and Kfir at 11.3 or 11.7, and haven’t wanted back since. I dabbled in it here and there, but the AIM 9L spam is far worse than the AIM 9J.
The issue is the br range is 10.7 = complete death to all aspects
10.3 = complete death to anything but it
It should be given its falcons and put to 10.7
Then you have no idea how to balance the game, as you told me earlier, I’m glad you have no say in balance decisions.
nobody is routinely dodging 20g+ missiles without flares.
Kind of agree, the f100d is a good example, VERY fun jet, but often suffers from high power missile volleys that you cant dodge over time. you can dodge one aim9G, but the second one will hit since youre too slow :/
DECOMPRESSION
Moving problems up or down in BR doesn’t lower the number of problems
By that logic, if I move M1A2 to 8.0, doesn’t create more problems.
Because if it was 8.0 in the first place, moving it back to 11.7 doesn’t lower number of problems. Because number of problems can’t be lowered without decompression, right? Intentional stupidity or disguised disagreement with the J35XS moving up? Completely unknown to me.
Pedantic.
And he is not?
I’m not defending the J35XS placement, but the problem should be tackled at its source, and that’s BR compression.
If we move top tier to 14.7 or higher, we get a much needed breathing room to balance other things down low
How is he pedantic? the problem is correct. BR at 9.3 - 11.3 is very compressed and it need decompression, moving around doesn’t change anything and he correctly identify the solution while you waffle around and made an argument dumb enough to admit you into state asylum and disqualify you from future draft in case an apocalyptic alien invasion forces every able bodied individual to fight for the planet.
Sure it can go up. whether it’s gonna get fucked by MiG-23 is just a problem for another day for you isn’t it?
Oh, I see. You are simply opposed to it going up. In that case argue with everyone else in this thread, and not me exclusively. Also, make actual arguments instead of whatever nonsense this is.
The J35XS might have issues fighting Mig-23s, but by that same argument the 9.7 premiums should go down to 9.0 because they suffer fighting the J35XS at 10.3.
10.3 is too low for a supersonic aircraft with 6x half decent AAMs, a half decent FM and actually 12 flares, more than many when it gets a downtier.
Sure it would be DOA at 11.0 where it probably should actually be when looking at downtiers, but 10.7 would be fine for it and would place it onpar with things like the F-5C
