The J35XS is almost guaranteed to get a full downtier in nearly every game due to its BR placement, and most aircraft at 9.3 don’t have countermeasures and most missiles at 9.3 can’t hit an aircraft that maneuvers, and at 20Gs the RB24J is completely impossible to evade with maneuvers. Using any aircraft at 9.3 is nearly impossible because of the J35XS. Forget outrunning it too because it’s faster than everything except the F104.

Yes, that’s right, I fly Ariete, and the J35XS is my biggest problem, the missile is too powerful, and plane itself is too maneuverable.
Subsonic jets should go below 9.0.

wrong takeaway. RB24J is unevadeable in no flare downtier not because it can’t be outturned. it’s because it can fire 2 and still hit you with the 2nd missile after your energy got drained. good draken pilot can get away with 3 kill each game unlike some fuckass with 2 AIM-9J or several AIM-9D.

10.7 would be reasonable for it. It still avoids the worst of the 12.0 SARH slingers in an uptier with no RWR, but minimises the impact on downtiers. Though more than a few 9.7s stand no chance against it, but that is a compression issue that cant really be avoided for now

For RB? Nope , it doesn’t. The worst case scenario when you play an uptier at 11,7 is MiG 23ML/MLA/MLD with R-24R. That goes for 12.0 as well. I don’t think an uptier to 12.0 makes things worse , only the fact that there won’t be only the ML/MLA/MLDs , but you add Doppler Phantoms in the mix making the quantity of SARHs that can be used near the deck more, not the quality though.
The problem is decompression. Though , i believe MiG 21MF/SMT, and J35XS and A-10 premium and Su-25/K should go 10.7 , even without decompression.
Defending against 11.7s isn’t something that you’ll be able to do easier with a 10,7-11,0-11,3 , so it’s not that they “lack” something.
On the other hand, without flares a 9,3 won’t be able to do anything against those and in the case a of A-10 as slow as it is it has a s—t tone of flares and a “you get killed globe” at 2KM around it for planes without flares.
you know there is a reason those planes are 11.7 and its because they are not that good unless they catch you slacking. They should bring it back to 10.7. No reason I should be facing a darken with my 1950s F-100D, some hunters, su-7s, hunters, g-91ys, mig-19s.

TBH R24s can kill u even if u notch and chaff and all that, it has doppler filter, so regardless of radar lock. But all that it does is preventing Draken from flying high really, IDK about downtiers cause I haven’t had issue with F100A but IDK with other planes.

Having half spaded the MLD man its absolutely brutal facing off against gen 4s mostly every game.
I did better with the Mig23M over the MLD.
People get caught so up with it bein banging due to how it was before they butchered the radar for it and the FM
It can’t, unlike 9E/9B at least, which u see a lot of at 9.7.
I’ve seen easy 6.0 K/Ds from people, downtier wise there is 0 competition.

Apparently no one here knows the absolute torture that thing is. That thing sucks, and the fact you got eliminated enough to cry for it to go higher is just evident on how bad you are. How are you complaining about the J35X when the A-10 and the Su-25 are at the same BR?
I mean, they have all aspects at a BR where no one can flare them off, meanwhile you’re complaining about a plane of whose missiles could get flared off by a cigarette butt.

I can always fuck over A-10 pilot by going for a headon 2 to 1 circle reversal and rain 20mm/30mm to their fuselage. draken at least can follow me far enough to dink my flareless dogshit with 9J.
