Missile counter Missile method is a terrible mechanic for the game

And you have nothing else to say so you resort to insults.

I’m not the one with the insane marketing claims presented as facts, you don’t understand burden of proof.

I don’t think you do. YOU made the claim that the meteor has less range than the amraam, so YOU need to produce the sources for it

We’re not the ones pulling bs out of our ass and expecting others to do the research to prove us right here

Literally this, you made the claim first

YOU’RE the one who has to prove it

Ok, I showed this to a friend.

@coffee_can-psn Do you know how an SFDR works or what it is?

There’s no proof the meteor has longer range, it’s only use in combat was an utter dud, the aim120d has much better range and hit probability that’s just a fact

I don’t care what you’re talking to chat gbt or Gemini about tbh

Well then enlighten us with the sources you definitely have to prove that

The meteor has not even been fired in combat

100 km

160km

I mean, it’s a simple question

How would a missile that burns throughout most of its flight time, have worse range than one that only burns with a quick boost?

it literally was the the Indian Pakistan flare up but keep coping.

Second source is literally a news article, that means about as much as “my dad works at raytheon”

Worst part, they’re naming other news articles as a source

Look who’s using marketing materials now. I seem to remember you saying those aren’t good sources…

And there’s a difference between a no escape zone and the maximum range. The latter is based on extremely optimistic launch parameters. In order for an AIM-120D-3 to hit a 160km shot, it has to be launched by a plane going mach at extremely high altitude at a target also going mach that makes no attempt to avoid the missile.

Sources don’t even agree on whether those Rafales were carrying meteors or micas. And if the missile was such a flop, why would India then proceed to buy another $180m worth of meteor missiles after the conflict? Why would they buy more of a missile thats an “utter dud”?

Ahh yes Indian MIC, well known internationally for well thought out and planned ahead purchases

lol, lmao even

Foxlover situation in WTODS all over again 🤣

prove it wrong, you can’t. meanwhile 100km is literally saab so cope and seethe

The propulsion system alone would confirm this. You cannot beat physics. Meteor > any AMRAAM at maximum range or NEZ.

not according to saab…

You were the one who came in here with your strawmanned argument about british mains all claiming a 37m nez to get mad at. So you need to prove your claim. Nobody even mentioned the meteor before you did here
