This has NEVER been an argument given against modern additions (because everything is classified), we have Chinese and Russian weapons that all we know about is some brochure and that mock ups of them were put next to a plane on an airshow. This is what i mean by inconsistency, they should have just said we’ll consider the pylons as a suggestion and move on if they really dont want to add them to at least stay consistent…

Facing off against Rafale, Typhoon, Su-30, it would be nice to have 12 missiles so it can fit more alongside the Su-30 as a 14.3 missile truck, along with the other things.
And ofc, AMRAAM buffs, but that isn’t Golden Eagle or even F-15 specific

Just look at this topic - the very idea of introducing a new change to the naval-gamemode is considered by the absolute majority of people to be absolutely terrible.
~250 people voted, of which 91 percent voted against.
And this topic isn’t isolated either; numerous independent posts, without any prior agreement, have written about their complete rejection of the current concept.
Once again - The War Thunder Naval and players absolutely DO NOT NEED any further nerfs to ship survivability and session lifespan! - I wrote about this too, representing, among other things, the loyal WTFE-community, whose goal was to make the naval mode successful for WarThunder and comfortable for players. Is anyone even listening to us?
After all, it formulates what players really need - to return survivability, accuracy, and maps to the level of early spring 2025!
We don’t need to be told how new mechanics should work; We need it NOT to be INTRODUCED.
So far, all changes to the naval gameplay mechanics since the Leviathans patch have only destroyed any enjoyment of the game.
If the current changes are introduced, it will simply be the final blow to the warthunder naval.

So it’s still going to face Rafale, Typhoon, and Su-30, but top tier is worse overall

The difference between AMBER and MRML is that MRML is actually used in service by the F-15EX. So we know they at least work today. And if I read the MRML bug report correctly, the GE and EX share a mission computer, meaning it’s possible the GE could have received updates to use MRML pylons.
AMBER is different since it was never seen outside of mockups, and it has never been used IRL.

Hitting targets behind cover/outside of the guns range (above 4 km) which maybe were discovered by other means (for example scout drones, satellites, other ground troops, allied aircraft, etc.)?
AFAIK the most ATGMs also have two modes (lofted and direct) to hit either tanks/vehicles from above or helicopters directly, so they actually can act as a kind of SAM against fixed wing aircraft.
Yeah seems like it, other than the usual loadout changes and bug fixes (wishful thinking I know) this seems to be it for the update.

Yeah I’m guessing the 11th as well, definitely won’t be this week as the dev server is going until the 7th. Gutted personally, I’m on holiday until the 14th so I have to wait a few more days to get my precious Hawk.
But also if it does drop on the 11th I wonder if they will do anything for Remembrance Day alongside the update release. Last year we didn’t even get a decal but I am hopeful for something. (Very big cope but maybe re-run the WW1 event with some more vehicles to keep like the planes seeing as “You will get to play these in the upcoming Aces of Thunder soon” still hasn’t happened yet.)
Well it’s always on a farm day for me so I’ll props be too tired to play on the day, especially now winter feeds are setting in
