I mean its only 2 missiles at the end and Gaijin could chose from TV or IIR seekers
the AGM-142 have 70km+ of range using man in the loop feature, with just the IR guidance that can be used in terminal phase is going to have a similar launch range as the KH-38MT soo… nothing crazy.

and also you are going to sacrifice 2 missile in each wing soo… you are going to just carry amraams under the fuselage thats a huge gap for self-defense.

Same old C.7 airframe, only has 4 air to air missiles, and retains the low CM count. 13.3 at minimum.
Viggen and F-4F have similar flight performance but F-4F gets better radar, incomparably better RWR and 2 more Sidewinders which are Li model over regular L on the Viggen. F-4F is simply better suited for uptiers so 13.0 doesnt make sense for it and should stay 13.3

It got nerfed at some point so they are more or less similar but still require different playstyles.

Thing with the viggen is that it is easily able to point it’s nose in a dogfight compared to a phantom, on paper it’s the same but in practice a good viggen pilot would not lose that fight

I mean depends what you’re looking for. I like Viggen FM more because its more snappy and performs better than F-4 at high and very low speeds. F-4F on the other hand peaks at medium speeds because it wont lose energy as fast as Viggen while also having agile eagles and combat flaps available. F-4 is also more predictable and easy to fly unlike Viggen.
If I were to choose one for a duel I’d take the JA37D since I can actually benefit from these first 1-3 turns and finish the fight. In ARB "team"fight F-4F is better because it carries better and more weaponry with more capable radar and thats what I’d take in this scenario. Viggen can still work in ARB with boom and zoom tactics but 13.3 ARB is too cramped to make it effective.

Regardless unless a viggen gets to essentially no speed they struggle to turn with phantoms. Of which getting slow in air rb is a death sentence in sim its different but for the 16v16 air rb games its basically almost impossible to do a proper 1v1
