Or J7G I suppose.
According to a book published by AVIC (to be specific, Aviation Industry Press), it is improved from 7E and equipped with a small PD radar & HMD.
But the loadout remain unclear, at least not mentioned in the book.
Another Choice is the FTC200G (JL-9 variant), which is also, a J-7 but highly modified, dual seat, moving air inlet to the side. Using WP13F(C) as engine, PD radar and, ability to use SD10A and PL5EII.
It also has thermal pod as well as A2G ability.
Yes its an abysmally wasteful design (though any ship is better than no ship), but that’s not relevant in WT.
It has high pen, the fastest reload of any large calibre naval cannon, its fast, has very good gun handling, and it possesses the singular most busted armour scheme possible, despite it being ahistorically good but that’s not the issue.
So it and its sucessor H-39/40 will be more than capable of drastically overperforming.
It also doesn’t help that she’s 7,000 tonnes heavier than any of her direct equivalents meaning all ships designed to compete with her are at an inherent disadvantage.
@Smin1080p_WT Is there any report made about HMS Repulse’s number of hydroplane?
Currently it is only one, with no plane on hangar. It should be three(two in hangar, one in catapult) to four(two in hangar, one in catapult and one in deck).
@Smin1080p_WT Do you know if the new Test Flight maps are going to include any aircraft carriers for naval aircraft?
Currently in the Dev Server there aren’t any but obviously that could change but I was just wondering if it’s something that is planned to be added?
The new Test Flight maps are amazing but still a bit lacking with some targets, specifically more naval targets and some more air targets that aren’t MiG-15’s
It’s possible they will be expanded, but either way, please be sure to leave a feedback comment for it in the Firebirds changelog thread. We can pass it onto the Devs.
