For the future as well both italy and hungary are both uniquely developing Kf51 variants and will have it as their main stay.
Italy just ordered like 5-6 Kf41 variants as well.
Italy can be greatly developed. The only reason it is smaller is cause the tree is younger.
I just dont see a reason why italy needs either spain or turkey.

It’s simple, I know what they can offer, if you take a look at the proposal, you’ll see that I’ve basically added almost everything that can be added from both Hungary(again there isn’t much left, I did researches) and Romania.
While Romania has a lot to add, it really doesn’t have much neither: it will add some SPAAs, the TR series, the LanceRs, F-16s and the MLVM.
Apart from the SPAAs, what they can add doesn’t fixes the biggest problem of the ITT, a poor high to top tier.

You are basically asking to have the TT sit frozen till 2029 as you need to account for the reveal of the tank, the time to gather data, model it. All of this when we all know that MBTs are the META at top tier.
I honestly prefer to get unique vehicles more than copy paste (unless it’s truly necessary to close a capability gap). For example the Leo2A7 is a very welcomed addition even is a copy paste-ish.
However, I don’t see the reason to add other copy paste vehicles in br where there’s already a working lineup or you could add a domestic tank. The leo2A4 was really necessary? wouldn’t one of the thousand Centauro 1 variants that aren’t in the game yet be better?
In any case, you’re right: there’s still some things to add the hungarian tech tree. However the original vehicles are in either low tier or further than top tier. These are obviously good additions, but will not help to close the capability gaps Italy has in the middle ranks.
What OP was trying to propose with this post were alternatives to close these gaps with UNIQUE vehicles from nations that are, de facto, already present inside the Italian tech tree.
I think this is the best solution for the game because it increases variety and compesates the downsides of italian vehicles. Adding more soviet vehicles would definitely compensate them as well, but at the price of further reducing variety in gameplay.
I hate the Leo2 deathmatch we have at 10.7 so I’d like to worsen the situation with more T72s, T55s or whatever.
In any case I strongly prefer whatever option will bring to the game more unique vehicles to test drive :D
I’ve updated the Spanish proposal as it’s the one that it’s gathering more heat: listed all the additions including those foldered(I’ll update it with images and suggestions in the future) and corrected some BR mistakes.
The Spanish one features the spanish Leopard 2A6E and it’s future update(when? Sanchez give the army some money)
The Turkish one features a lot but it’s mostly updated Leo2A4s, some light armored Altay protos and the only really armored one is the production Altay.
Germany is also going to feature a lot of MBTs in the future:
Leopard 2A8, KF-51 prototype, KF-51 with the CUT turret, KF-51 international production, Leopard 3, Leopard ARC, MGCS, Leopard with the 140mm, Leopard WE 140mm, Leopard WE prototype and I’m sure they are already cooking up more.
this, currently germany only have 1 2a7v level lepoard2, with the addition of spain italy will get its 2nd 2a7v level leopard 2
well, so far germany haven’t got a single prototype of uparmored leo2. leo 2 ivt/kvt, leo 2 tvm, leo 2a6ex, all of them is a 2000’s or 1990’s prototype that is still not in game, what guarantee germany will recieve its prototype uparmored leo 2?

Germany still is the worse leopard nation then sweden. 1 uparmored leo vs 3. And strv122 is even better armored then our leos cause gajin thinks our leopard still have armor from a 30 year old trial.
The 2e is an uparmored variant with the full swedish armor package and upgraded thermals to gen 3.
In its essence its a 2a7v without transmission, l55a1 and generator upgrades.
Italy still does have several ariete variants.
And even 1 upgrade in development.
So there is that for one.

The sad reality of things is that Hungary didn’t have an indigenous industry after WW2.
There are plenty of vehicles that are indigenous or indigenously modified.
Spain a bit less ofcourse but they also have their own programs, the most recent ones being the ASCOD and the Dragon.
To reduce the Turkish Altay to just a K2 would be profoundly wrong and I’m sure my dear turkish friends will explain it better.
The turkish Leopards are also indigenously modified.
The Altay is already planned to receive upgrades and the spanish Leo too.
Unless you are talking about KF-51 production or M1E3 levels but I hope not because we’ll talk about that in 2030s.

The Ariete ain’t top tier material, not matter how much Gaijin inflates it.
It’s a 2A4 level tank that has received some new optics.
What we are missing is just the C2 Ariete that will features slightly better optics and the same PSO and WAR armor we already have ingame.
There are no other upgrades in development nor other variants.
The hungarians haven’t put anymore money towards the KF-51, they shown interest in it for a 120mm version but they never said anything else about it nor allocated any other funds to it.
This year we could see a prototype but probably a Rheinmetall one.

We didn’t get our Pzh2000 ingame yet even though it’s sitting in the files, our additions are mostly vehicles developed for other countries or that would need small work done to them, the MB326K and B are ingame because the italian community asked Nova to make it and provided all the photos and documents needed.
I’m also still waiting for my Centauro 2 with DM73 so that I can have a good italian top tier.
It’s pretty obvious neither would be a great fit seeing how Italy already has Hungary and will get Romanian vehicles which it’s yet to see a lot of, its doesn’t need Spanish or Turkish vehicles.

Hosbo is german made weapon, that is not an apple to apple comparison, if you wanted to add an italian/hungarian/roamanian locally made weapon/vehicle then i support 100%, but its not, it is german made weapon/vehicle
Im all for every nation have as close capability with each other as possible, but not by screwing other nation, im all for having every tree strengthened by their sub tree export vehicle, but the producer nation should not be screwed by having inferior in quality and/or number because of that
These don’t include planned and “what if” stuff, as well as incomplete stuff (except ships).
PS honestly if anything I’m more interested in Spanish Buchons than their Leopard 2 modifications, I don’t even think that Italy isn’t competitive at top tier at least currently, with awesome SAMP/T, very good 2A7HU and great support vehicle in a form of Centauro I 120. Top tier battles are usually pretty fast and don’t require many tanks to spawn.
Although I’m not even that interested in high tiers mostly play it to spade stuff or complete some special tasks, so I’m not going to argue with any different opinions.
