The sad reality of things is that Hungary didn’t have an indigenous industry after WW2.
There are plenty of vehicles that are indigenous or indigenously modified.
Spain a bit less ofcourse but they also have their own programs, the most recent ones being the ASCOD and the Dragon.
To reduce the Turkish Altay to just a K2 would be profoundly wrong and I’m sure my dear turkish friends will explain it better.
The turkish Leopards are also indigenously modified.
The Altay is already planned to receive upgrades and the spanish Leo too.
Unless you are talking about KF-51 production or M1E3 levels but I hope not because we’ll talk about that in 2030s.

The Ariete ain’t top tier material, not matter how much Gaijin inflates it.
It’s a 2A4 level tank that has received some new optics.
What we are missing is just the C2 Ariete that will features slightly better optics and the same PSO and WAR armor we already have ingame.
There are no other upgrades in development nor other variants.
The hungarians haven’t put anymore money towards the KF-51, they shown interest in it for a 120mm version but they never said anything else about it nor allocated any other funds to it.
This year we could see a prototype but probably a Rheinmetall one.

I’ve supported the addition of the HOSBO and more of them even though I’ll never use them, why? Because I want to see more unique and cool things ingame.
Germany needed them and it made sense.
I didn’t cry for Germany to not have them because Italy doesn’t have IR guided weapons.
Does it make sense? Be supportive of the other communities not against just because you fear them to get something.

We didn’t get our Pzh2000 ingame yet even though it’s sitting in the files, our additions are mostly vehicles developed for other countries or that would need small work done to them, the MB326K and B are ingame because the italian community asked Nova to make it and provided all the photos and documents needed.
I’m also still waiting for my Centauro 2 with DM73 so that I can have a good italian top tier.

It’s pretty obvious neither would be a great fit seeing how Italy already has Hungary and will get Romanian vehicles which it’s yet to see a lot of, its doesn’t need Spanish or Turkish vehicles.

Hosbo is german made weapon, that is not an apple to apple comparison, if you wanted to add an italian/hungarian/roamanian locally made weapon/vehicle then i support 100%, but its not, it is german made weapon/vehicle
Im all for every nation have as close capability with each other as possible, but not by screwing other nation, im all for having every tree strengthened by their sub tree export vehicle, but the producer nation should not be screwed by having inferior in quality and/or number because of that

PS honestly if anything I’m more interested in Spanish Buchons than their Leopard 2 modifications, I don’t even think that Italy isn’t competitive at top tier at least currently, with awesome SAMP/T, very good 2A7HU and great support vehicle in a form of Centauro I 120. Top tier battles are usually pretty fast and don’t require many tanks to spawn.
Although I’m not even that interested in high tiers mostly play it to spade stuff or complete some special tasks, so I’m not going to argue with any different opinions.

HOSBO integration and numbers were iffy at best.
Yet I’ve supported for the Tornado to have them and to have a lot of them even though there weren’t many sources that indicated the implementation on all the hardpoints, but that’s beside the point.
Again, how is Italy getting 2 Leos screwing up Germany?

Have you ever seen german tree? Yeah they dont have any export model and prototype uparmored leopard 2 in their tree, the only export varian that getting added is the one that been used by other country (2a4m can, 2pl), maybe it is gaijin policy to not give germany any export model and prototype uparmored leopard 2, if that the case, then giving leo 2e to italy will reduce german ability to get more uparmored leo 2 outside of its in service vehicle, which is only 2a8 left if that the case, and with greece and singapore confirmed(ish for singapore) going to israel, the only choice for in service uparmored leo2 that is not in anyone subtree that germany can get is only spain leo 2e
In contrast italy can get 2 kf51 from italy and hungary, and possibly 2a8 from romania
If gaijin started adding prototype and export model uparmored leo 2 to germany in sufficient number then i will start to support spain going to Italy

The good about Spain is that it will have more WW2 equipments, Turkry on the other side more modern equipments.

Spain ww2 is also lacking, there are very few “unique” vehicles like the couple the verdejas, the rest are just german, early soviet like t26 and bt7 and some american, and most of those are like rank 1 vehicles.

In my humble opinion, the Italian subtree should have consisted of Spain and Portugal. Hungary has a handicap, it offers practically nothing in the naval department, and aside from the Leo2A7, it offers nothing significant. To be honest, I don’t like the Hungarian/Soviet vehicles, they’re not suited to my playstyle.

Did you take into account some decompression when making the BR of the Spanish Hornets? Because in the current game the EF-18A, EF-18A+ and EF-18M would be 12.3, 12.7 and 14.0 respectively
