Hey everyone! Today, we’ll be releasing an update that increases the maximum Battle Rating of ground vehicles from 12.0 to 12.7, and helicopters from 12.3 to 13.0. As part of this decompression, some ground vehicles with a Battle Rating of 11.0 and above will also see their Battle Rating increased.
These changes were made to decompress the current Battle Rating upper limit. The goal is to separate top-tier SAMs and MBTs, which were previously concentrated at a single Battle Rating. Therefore, these changes prioritize decompression over balancing the effectiveness of all available vehicles. These are initial changes and affect top-tier vehicles currently at Battle Rating 12.0, as well as some tanks with Battle Ratings of 11.0-11.7.
Top-tier SAM systems have been moved to higher Battle Ratings, with the exception of those from Japan, Sweden, and China. New anti-aircraft systems are planned for these nations in the future (in upcoming major updates), which will be positioned at the highest Battle Ratings. These changes, along with our future plans, will allow us to distribute vehicles more evenly across the expanded Battle Rating range, as we will be making planned adjustments to the Battle Ratings of both top-tier vehicles and vehicles in other Battle Ratings, taking into account the performance data we receive.
You guys really consider to Tiger UHT to be comparable to the Mi-28NM and AH-64E huh? Never mind that they get missile that are 2-3x further range and have LDIRCM…
Oh, and both their missiles get much bigger explosive payloads + the high caliber ATGM buff (170 mm +)
Oh, and the AH-64E also has double the missile capacity of the Tiger
Oh, and they also get a cannon which the Tiger doesn’t
Tiger UHT was already a joke at 12.3, now it’s a whole comedy special. I’ve replaced it in my lineups with the HAD-E because of how unreliable PARS-3 is.
Spyder 12.0–>12.7, simply unreasonable
Merkava MK4M 12.0–> 12.7, belongs at 12.3
Challenger 2 BN/E 12.0 → 12.7, both belong at 12.3 or even staying at 12.0, l27A1 is not top tier material
AH-60/UHT/HAD/129D 12.3–>13.0, none of the spike carriers are 13.0 material come on gaijin.
Will its good that the BR for helis get changed, Helis which have up to 16km F&F Missiles wwhile having 16 of them + LDIRCM+ an Chain Gun, they should not be at the same BR as an Heli which has no chain gun, only 8 Missiles with 7km and not even any kind of IRCM
Tiger UHT/HAC should therefore not be 13.0, but 12.7 instead
Also, where are the Outer PARS Pylons for the Tiger?
As i mentioned in another thread, what gaijin is doing here isn’t decompression, it’s recompression of top tier itself, gone are the days where you can spade a top tier tank at 12.0 with minimal fear of facing 13.0 CAS every match, now you will be facing it every match because 12.7 ≠ 13.0, 9 times out of 10 so while 10.7-11.7 gets a decent break, everything past that is going to be a nightmare
Yeah, spikes are so incredibly unreliable,
Gaijin needs to start justifying all their br changes so we can see how and why they do these things
That will actually help the playerbase understand their decision-making.
