Moving it down wont help, the Type 87(c) is the same BR as the type 90 line up, the next line up Japan has is 9.7, and as funny as that would be, I don’t think its going that low, so it would still be 11.7 by default.
So because Japan doesn’t have a lower line up for the type 87 the Elde has to suffer? Isn’t that a bit unfair?
CS/SA5 is more of a support spaa though as its strength is intercepting munition and killing close low flying target. If you team it up with a pantsir or SkySabre that thing is a monser
As was confirmed by Gaijin, Sweden, Japan and China should get a new, top tier SPAA soon.
That means EldE days are counted (excluding the moment where you will still need to research it) .
I dont recall players intercepting munitions receiving as much points and SL as players that actually hit and kill enemy aircraft.
They also dont share the xp just because of the way the game is built.
IMO the value and usability of a SAM system is its ability to KILL the threat.
Calling it support is just hiding the fact that its… well, useless.

I disagree, cool that you can kill a jet but when they already fired the ammunition and killed 6 people in your team its bad. nice that you killed it but you had no value there as it already fired all its missiles

I think you’re missing the point there really isn’t anything they can get that can work in the game, not without pissing off players from a different nation.
Guess gaijin will add the 2x Elde launchers with the radar unit and call it a day.
They aren’t stuck with 12.0 spaa so gaijin is focusing on the current worst SPAA by range. I assume we will see Pateiot or so sometime next year as a replacement for the Joint project of Slamraam

Also, might be a bit controversial, but I think that CLAWS is currently one of the best if not the best new SPAA. Yea it’s a luckluster numberwise, but instead you get a mobile platform that is easy to reposition and easy to hide, which makes you viable during current SEAD meta of GNSS weaponry. You also get a sure-kill radius with aim-9x and the ability to live even without a radar unit. It’s pretty good and currently the only SPAA I might struggle against sometimes.
CLAWS is 12.3? Its just as bad as elde and spyder
Doubt connecting 2 EldE launchers to an UndE 23 or PS 90 would warrant a top br spaa.
