Implement Air Battles Maneuver Kills

Unless we implement maneuver kills. Lol

Read my post again…

Doesn’t matter what you doubt.

I re read it and my statement remains the same. Implement distance limitations and all of a sudden a denial crash doesn’t deny anything. People stop getting crew locked for hitting objects that are not visible, players are rewarded and not punished, and it’s much better than what we currently have.
Anywho fr last reply because y’all are devoting wayyy too much time to this and I refuse to get sucked in any further to something so trivial and meaningless in my life 🤣

It does, since that’s my point of view. Whether you take it on board is your choice.

Then you’re clearly over-estimating your intelligence, you have been told by many different people why getting rewarded for manoeuvre kills is lazy, an implementing nightmare that Gaijin won’t go through the trouble of putting in, and why it’ll just promote worse behaviour instead of better like you keep thinking.

People already kill friendly’s in ground battles to deny enemies their kills, what would be stopping people from just resorting to this once a friendly runs out of fuel.

No, because the psyche of man does not feel good, ever, if people are rewarded for “participation”.

Exactly, like I want to WORK for my kills, I’m sure I’m not in the minority when I see an enemy crashed due to my input and I think “good, one less person to deal with, time to shoot down the next enemy to try and win the game” instead of “HE CRASHED BEFORE I COULD SHOOT HIM EEEUUUGGHHHH”

Literally me.
Game is about experiencing things.

Hello. I fly in to ground near enemy after two kills now I am locked from crew for 3 minutes 30 seconds. Gaijin this is not entertaining gameplay.

Making an enemy crash due to your actions is work though, doesn’t matter if gaijin is having a hard time how to implement it. If they can then they should reward the player for making an enemy crash due to maneuvers. Gaijin already punishes and charges players SP from crashing because of janky hitboxes, why can’t they reward us if we purposely make them crash? " I want to WORK for my kills", sure but how about the work of carefully maneuvering against the enemy? “HE CRASHED BEFORE I COULD SHOOT HIM EEEUUUGGHHHH”, the crashed player already loses SP for repairs, why not also reward the guy who made him do that? This mechanic literally helps players and you guys sound like you are against the players benefitting.

I support the opinion of players getting rewarded if another one crashes by any player input… that means in their immediate vicinity, let’s say 1km around.
It’s close enough to say that the target got intercepted or got pushed to a mistake.
And to be honest that happened to me yesterday… i was chased in a gorge, player shot at me didn’t hit me…i managed to evade , but at some point i crashed not intentionally, just input mistake …
None took the kill , i took 3min penalty… No, he forced me to make a mistake, he should take credit.

Moreover, with the amount of missiles we get per match, evading missile should also reward you…
If i decoy 5 people and the team comes and swipes them because i played defense well , but i didn’t have time to make a kill / game ended , I shouldn’t come back with minimum …

We have simpler systems that still dont work after almost a year of being brought into the game:

  • custom loadouts / custom fuel loads break every other patch
  • severe damage is inconsistent at best (flatspinning burning targets with half a wing missing = crit?)
  • newly community discovered line of sight / noise (major) bug
  • cas markers break sometimes and are unusable for the rest of the game (newest feature)
  • missile evasion itself doesnt even work half the time

Do you really think they can cook up a proper maneuver kill system without nerfing the economy in the process? Because I dont.

Just had an F-82 try and avenge thier own death in RB Tanks, and ended up just completely spearing it, without even getting a hit.

The guy that they were trying to get definitely deserved the kill because they put themselves under and at a tighter angle than the F-82 was going to handle.

You know how you get points for being in close proximity to an enemy plane? This should be enough to mark the other player for kills in case of crashes for a limited time.

Not really, you want to reward players because they crashed into a tree trying to multipath a phoenix? That is incredibly lazy gameplay and will just turn into another JU-288 situation where people will just be spamming for quick RP and SL in that case.

While SB and not RB,

Would you still say it’s no work to bleed an enemy of energy, then spook them with your tracers (and miss your shot) causing them to pull too hard and stall into the ground?

Would you still say it’s lazy gameplay to recognize two enemies flying too close on your tail and quickly reversing your turn to make them crash as they try to keep up?

  1. This thread is about Realistic Battles.

  2. I’ve already stated my thoughts on a similar system in SB

Isn’t that what a maneuver kill is? You really wanna talk about lazy? Copy-paste vehicles by Gaijin netting, half-assed map designs that will get you killed from spawn, mechanics and fixes that were promised and still not implemented, etc. Tell me, are the players really the lazy ones here? The post above you even mentioned the mechanic where you get points for getting in proximity of enemies. Why are you against the players getting more?

Frankly, they crashed because you pressured them with SARH/ARH missiles. This is a textbook maneuvering kill.

Also, I’m begging people to remember that this used to be ingame and it more or less worked as intended, and for some reason, for drones specifically (MQ-1 and Orion), it STILL is ingame and from time to time I will randomly get a kill on a drone that exploded within a few KM of me despite my never engaging it.

You keep acting as if this is my rationale, it’s not, so stop saying it.

What you are suggesting is genuinely awful, it would require absolutely zero work to be rewarded for using fox 3s then, then the entire appeal of even getting kills, or an ace just completely goes out of the window and then the game will just feel completely void of a sense of reward when you get “Aircraft Destroyed” pop up on your screen. I’m against it because I actually like to WORK for my kills.

People are already complaining that top tier is a point and click adventure, this would only make that point more relevant by tenfold.
