QoL advantages T-80 has
- Turns faster
- Better roof mounted MG
- Quieter engine
- No gyat (can shoot behind itself)

Actual advantages the T-80 has
- Better mobility
- Smaller silhouette
- Smaller weakspots
- Fewer weakspots
- Very volumetric BS’y weakspots
- Higher chance of surviving penetration
- Can reload while firefighting
- Powerful HE round

I disagree. All T-80 series bar the BVM have really bad vertical gun handling which has gotten me killed on many an occasion and poor horizontal gun handling compared to similar br counterparts.
A smaller silhouette also is a negligible bonus as almost everyone has thermals and laser rangefinders at the brs T-80s are found at.
T-80s also do not have a higher chance of surviving a penetration compared to the abrams due to their very cramped crew compartment with ammo everywhere and lower crew count (and before you say the autoloader eats rounds every single time, it doesn’t).
A better roof mg for the T-80 is also incorrect as it has less ammo than the american .50s however a this is negligible in practice as it still takes a while to empty the soviet .50 mag.
As for the abrams gun depression, reverse speed, and better gun handling are all very much essential to the abrams playstyle giving it a higher reaction times while also giving it better mobility than the T-80 (mobility doesn’t only refer to forward speed you know).
(Also just tested the T-80U turn at a standstill to 90 degrees to the M1A1 and the timings are so close I cannot tell the difference with a stopwatch).

No, neutral steering does not have a major gameplay impact, especially the T-80’s non-neutral steering is faster.
Also the fact that you’ve never played T-80 or Abrams and say Better mobility, Smaller weakspots, and Higher survivability are wrong is wild.
Interesting choice! If anyone’s paying attention, OP decided to place Object 292 in the protection analysis threat, which comes with one of the most penetrating darts in that BR bracket. Naturally, it’s going to slice through the M1 Abrams like it’s made of butter.

As a USA main, I believe American superiority and Abrams is the bestest tank in the universe, if modelled correctly nothing can penetrate it frontally, I think everyone here must have watched Captain America, the Abrams armor uses the same rare earth material known as vibranium, which is known to be unbreakable. This is the only thing I didn’t like about WT because it isn’t realistic that Abrams can be penetrated frontally.
Maybe as a GM you could see what ever happened with these bug reports that were “accepted” but never amounted to anything.

Definitely not just QoLs.
Putting those in the same category as having gun-launched ATGM or “better roof mounted MG” is wild.
Until you show some actual data we’ll have to use common sense to determine that, so T-80s will have less survivability as they are incredibly cramped.

I also came to the same opinion and stopped donating to this game, because if you don’t play for the USSR or Russia, then you will always be fodder.
