Why has this restarted? Did most not already agree on the fact that this is not a 10.7 vehicle but it is as much a compression issue as it is a balancing issue.

Newest update on players’ opinion on J7D, not really bad compared to some of the other premiums, but the fact is clear that people are giving it “yellow” rating on balancing should be saying something.
Partially it is because the J-7D always get uptiered and it struggles against especially the MiG-23ML and JA37c.
The balance rating is too ambiguous and confusing to be worth ever using. Are people rating it low because its OP, or because it’s too weak?
(It is OP, and should be 11.0).

Probably because J-7D has ugly looking MiG-21 fuselage, and Basic PLAAF camo makes it even uglier?

- Buff MiG-23ML down to 11.3BR because she can do nothing against F-15A at 12.7BR
- Then buff J-7D down from 10.7 to 10.0 for not facing MiG-23ML and JA37C.

I would take PL-5B over R-60M most of the time.
I prefere it over Magic 1 even and Mirage III/5 have 2 of those. PL-5B completely changes the effectiveness of the platform.
J-7D would be quite reasonable at 11.0.
Unfortunately at and around 10.7 there is quite some compression.
