Personally, F/A-18C Early change to 13.0 and receive AIM-9M

Hopefully after this major update gajin decompression BR to 14.3 before AIM-120B replace with AIM-120C-3 or AIM-120C-4, add AIM-9X (Blk 1) and AIM-120C-5 on F/A-18C Late

But F/A-18A reduce BR 12.7 → 12.3 or stay 12.7 ?

Speed is not the only factor considered for BR placement. If that’s the case, Mig-23ML for example should be at 13.7. You can’t conveniently ignore the facts that the plane gets a very good radar with HMD, large load-out of 12 missiles (which are VERY good). These have way more impact in top tier rather than the top speed.

Su-34 have better top speed and also same amount of missiles (+/-) and also best dogfight missile in the game. But sits on 13.3 somehow🤷‍♂️

su34 is more of a ground combat aircraft than being air to air combat yea it has r77s but there not good at long range bvr unlike the 120

To run Aim-9M, the FA2 loses AMRAAMs.

Also the A-10C has Aim-9M at 11.7, so I dont see the issue of the FA2 having 9Ms at 12.7

FA2 has 4 hard points, 1 on each wing, 2 on the belly.

the wing mounts can either have

1x AMRAAM + BOL
1x Aim-9M + BOL
2x Aim-9M

the belly mounts can have

1x AMRAAM
1x 30mm ADEN Gunpod

So by adding Aim-9Ms you are reducing the amount of AMRAAMs and thus reducing the reason for it to be at 13.0 even more.

ok, MiG-29G has R-73, only 2 radar missiles (6 in total) and 60 flares, but it’s on 13.0, so why F/18C (Early) must be 12.3?

I really dont see any problem to set 29G on 12.3 since we already have Bison with just 2 less missiles. But clearly not 13.0. 12.7 would be compromise.

if you had read the devlog you would know that it is a bug and that the premium F18 will be 12.7, which is way undertier when you see that they have added a premium F16 with only shitty ir missile at the same BR.

its an A-10, its stupidly slow. way slower than a harrier.

and having the option to run 9M still is going to affect its BR. i do agree its by far not the best, but still shouldnt be 12.7. with FM buffs its justified 13.0, and with BOL it would be solid

12.0? Hell no.
The F-4S, J and ESPECIALLY the FGR.2 and FG.1 do not need another fucking modern jet with better missiles to bully them into oblivion in uptiers.
Don’t get me wrong, the F-4S is a great plane with great missiles but it makes no sense having it at the same BR as something with a infinitely better airframe and the exact same missiles but both 500 times better.
