that doesn’t happen dude, I have tens of thousands of air rb games and I can count on one hand the amount of times that’s happened, look dude if you’re the only guy left it’s not camping it’s trying to end the game, you’re not entitled to an even playing field in real life and it’s silly to have such op aaa.
Keep AF AA at all tiers, make it more reliable, but make it use tickets as ammunition. Only if protecting a player in range, of course.
I disagree. I think it’s reasonable when it isn’t dragging out a round where its 6 v 1, but that is never the case. It’s always abused now.
I think it’s just silly. It is exceedingly rare for a match to get to a 3 v 1 where there is supposed to be a “fair” outcome. Your team lost, game over, go back to hanger and requeue. Don’t force me to chase you all over the map just to wait for you to refuel and take off before your tickets auto-drain.
Where is my value in that in having 10 minutes of my life wasted for 1 measly kill or bonus? This is a TDM 1 life game mode, after all. If there were respawns or a persistent event capture/hold system, then maybe it would have merit to prevent people from just back capping or w/e
If it’s such an unwinnable situation for the opponent, you may as well land and return to hangar on your own.
An unconventional solution to the “AF Camping” problem at all BR ranges would be to generally upend the objective setup of the entire game mode.
If killing all enemy players did not auto-end the match, then running to airfield would no longer be an effective strategy to pull a victory out of the jaws of otherwise certain defeat. Nor would a bomber climbing to space, running forever in a fast plane, or hiding on the ground at some obscure map corner where the redboxing feature cannot find you. Such “tactics” would only serve the purpose of not dying.
Instead, grass-cutting and bombing would now be expected to win every match, because outside of an increasingly small handful of outdated maps, most maps have the majority of ground units be soft enough for most fighters to kill easily.
The idea is simple enough - remove all autowin ticket bleeds so no single objective can win games by itself under any means. Adjust the ticket values of the various objectives so each is worth at most 50% of the ticket bar, of which A2A (PvP + PvE on the AI Attackers, if they are present) is merely one objective. If someone flees to their airfield or runs to low earth orbit, you just kill their equivalent ticket value worth of ground targets/bombing points and pull the rug out from under them instead of needing to chase them to their AF AAA or to space.
Honestly the skilless players are the ones who go for grounded planes on the airfield, usually they have gotten 0 kills / 0 ground units and are so desperate they risk death for an easy kill, usually ending up with there death.
Why is it so hard for people to simply turn around and go re-arm themself??
I fly out my Tornado GR4 and hit ground units, expend my meesly 2 Aim-9M’s and start running low on fuel, I have no option but to get back and land, why should some skilless player get a free kill from me when they have done nothing all match???
this guy definitely bought a top tier premium. He would be complaining how op the AAA for prop planes are. In fact, I think AAA for top tier can be buffed. I want the second airfield to be safe to land at and rearm so both teams can duke it out again in the middle of the map. Plus this benefits both teams as the game runs for longer and everyone gets more points.
I thought getting strafed was annoying until I met people that orbit their airfield even if given ample time to leave. There should be a way to temporarily disable airfield AAA by destroying a certain objective, like a convoy that spawns after 10 in-game minutes, so that most planes are able to perform this task.
dude why do you think you’re entitled to landing lmao, you used all your missiles and ammo oh well tough luck, and nobody is camping airfields bro the aaa is too op lol so maybe get with reality.
skilless player projecting onto me lmao, yeah you definitely just want aaa as a crutch for your trash defensive flying
I mean that def happens, but not usually within 5 minutes.
It seems to be more abused right now than anything since matches seldom last longer than 5 min into furball or go to the last man. Usually its a 5 v 1 or 3 v 1 with the last opponent being 40km away lol, IF anyone on your team uses an avenger/blind hunt order.
There needs to be, or rather, there should be an incentive for the last plane to leave his AF area, otherwise a forced withdrawal makes more sense. Like score multipliers for kills as the last man standing for example.
ive been killed while sitting on the airfield a few times in jets, u can totally get thru the aa to kill someone on the runway, the aa rarely kills the attacker before he reaches the parked plane. its not like the omnipresent death bubble in props
if u really want to kill the last guy who is camping the airfield or using it to try to climb safely, u can. u just wont get out alive
Why do you think your entitled to kill a landing plane?? You couldn’t kill him when you had the chance well tough luck.
Skilless player crying cause they can’t kill you away from the airfield and die to SPAA on the airfield while trying to kill a landed plane. Bro you are exactly the type of person the Airfield AA was designed to keep away
lol compare profiles lil dude, and I’m on console. It’s obvious you’re the type of player to run away and let aaa get your kills but keep seething ig
What does you been on a console have to do with your skill issues and getting shot down by airfield AA while you try to farm easy kills on grounded planes?
You mean using the airfield for its purpose of landning to rearm and refuel. I’m not going to stay middle of the map waiting to get killed while I’m low on fuel, out of ammo and expended all my ordineces
I dont agree with you. Sometimes you stay alone because of these noobs teams, and people dont let you land
The AA is the last hope against these campers
