To nerf the aircraft of course. For example, the V3 was the first prototype for the production series Me 264 A. As such, the V3 was the first airframe to be equipped with bombing equipment, defensive armament, the revised extended wings, & the BMW 801 engine. Because of this, the V3 should have been implemented into this game. Of course, Gaijin deliberately chose to ignore these facts in order to nerf this aircraft. What they ended up doing was to model the earliest & weakest possible*** airframe which happens to be the unarmed V1 aerodynamic testbed:

Gaijin then proceeded to concoct fictitious characteristics for it. The end result is a heavily overloaded V1 complete with nerfs such as no armor when it should have 1,000 kg of it, incorrect armament, short wings, incorrect flight performance using incorrect engines, incorrect payloads, missing ordnance like the Luftmine B & F, LT 1500, & SC 2500, & missing external wing racks:

The result is a highly dubious depiction of the aircraft in-game since the unarmed V1 was an unarmed test bed which was never intended to be saddled with military equipment:

The stupid part is that before gaijin released their errored pile of crap, someone was actively working on a more accurate Me 264 complete with the definitive wings & BMW 801:

*** In the future, I will predict that the Junkers Ju 287 will also fall victim to gaijin’s ill intentions as did a multitude of other vehicles. Rather than the expected Ju 287 V3, gaijin will instead model the V1 testbed with a fictitious bomb bay…
To be frank, there should have been no need for me to write that suggestion in the first place since the Fw 200 C-4 was the most important & mass produced variant. It should have been in the game by default. Instead, gaijin deliberately dropped the ball with their inexplicable choice of the rare C-1. This is yet another example of modeling the earliest & weakest possible variant in order to disadvantage the unsuspecting player

The same issue affects the Hummel. Like I said on the Hummel topic before I was censored: No one finds it odd that a commonly produced & highly requested vehicle is somehow implemented into this game in its earliest, rarest, & weakest possible form?:

Gaijin should have modeled a proper, common August 1944 peak of production Hummel pictured below rather than whatever silly, early, rare gimmick that they stuck us with:

It is now basically guaranteed that the soviets will end up with the superior Hummel in-game if gaijin ever decides to give them a captured one:
