There isn’t a limit on how many bombers can be in a match.
Most of the matches that are majority bombers do not have any fighters in them to begin with.
Even exploiting the PvP mechanics is easy. There are people that get 4+ kills per fly out by playing in lobbies that are almost exclusively named bots.
Hmm, I don´t think a limit of how many bombers are allowed would be helpful. I would just create more bomberlobbys, I think.
I had lobbys with some named bots. Butt not verry often and it was a verry low BR. I think it was 1.0 to 2.0.
But I had 3 matches, 1 of our team flew a biplane. At 4.0 or so. And he turned on his smoke so his mate onn the enemyteam could spot him way more easy. He was at 10 losses and his mate made 10 kills. So they had my attention.
As a good teammate, I had to protect my mate :D. God, I never got so manny easy kills than in this round :D
i also use sim battles to farm points and grind vehicles, i just mind my bussines playing as a bomber.
They keep nerfing Sim battles but to be honest idk what else do they expect, the grind for events is shit, this causing people try to find the fastest way possible to complete it, this is Sim battles where they just mind their bussines and bomb bases and die (which tbh i dont mind, people can play as they want) and since doing PVP isnt worth on Sim because the reward system is DOGSHIT, of course people will just do zombie runs.
The problem is gajin nerfing things just to prevent “Base bombing”, etc. when the problem is how they been managing things since YEARS. they just do lazy solutions everytime.
Then every flightsim (both of them) is a simcade.
Because both IL-2 and DCS are full of arcade simplifications, especially in multiplayer (which is often similar to Sim EC in WT, only without any rewards at all).
My story is I started in Arcade having more than a decade of experience in Il-2 and older flightsims.
Then I moved to RB and I didn’t understand why everybody so skilled and shoot me down from a mile distance.
The problem was I came to this game with flightstick and virtual cockpit view. I’ve never touched a mouse and didn’t know anything about instructor.
And since I tried sim, I never go back to realistic.
I think 99% of AB/RB players is better than me in their modes.
Stop comparing rewards in Air RB and Sim…EC. Completely different games.
If there was a three-hour Realistic EC, just imagine how much abuse there would be of economic mechanics and how the rewards would be cut in that mode compared to conventional Air RB.
I think the issue is the amount of rewards that can be acquired within 15 minutes worth of ARB (might be more than 1 match) and the amount of reward that can acquired within 15 minutes of ASB.
Though I think the emphasis for this thread is more on the score nerf, which fails to take into account the much larger map sizes
I don’t play RB at all for years, so I don’t even know how big rewards there.
Even todays rewards in Sim satisfy me )
I open new aircraft faster than I have time to get used to the previous one. Sometimes it seems to me that even now it happens very quickly.
Years ago this was generally done in 1-2 fights. Which gave rise to the problem of bot breeding and abusive farming.
The issue with sim, is the capped rewards. 1 base kill or 2x A2A kills and thats it, that is all the reward you can get. So anything more you do, is just wasted effort.
Also, if you do something, bomb a bsae, win some dogfights, etc, etc and then die shortly afterwards, those actions essentially go unrewarded
Like having several twinks running simultaneously, that they farm on continuously in custom rooms.
How would you stop this? For game engine it’s just different players playing a match.
The problem is not RP, but SL.
Without premium it can be very hard to stay positive above BR 12.0.
All the researched planes are useless if you can’t afford them without premium.
Slow progress is fine. Playing one week or two for a new top tier jet is also fine.
But what is not fine, is when you can’t afford the new planes or can’t even afford playing the mode at all.
There’s no struggle on tier I-III, the game gives you the opportunity to play without investing a single cent.
I don’t see anything unfair.
Buy a premium for six months and you will get tired of playing faster than you run out of it. And you will have millions SL.
