Fuji T-1B-10/C Hatsutaka (富士 T-1B-10/C 初鷹)
The Fuji T-1B-10/C is an upgrade of the Fuji T-1B aircraft. The modernization consisted in replacing the Ishikawajima-Harima J3-IHI-3 engine with an Ishikawajima-Harima J3-IHI-7B engine . 21 aircraft were modernized (1 T-1A and 20 T-1B aircraft)
History
When the first Fuji T-1B aircraft were delivered in 1962, the Japanese quickly realized that the Ishikawajima-Harima J3-IHI-3 engine was too weak compared to the Bristol Siddeley Orpheus Mk 805 engine that powered the Fuji T-1A. It was decided that this engine had to be improved, which was immediately started. The new engine was ready in 1965 and it was decided to install it in the T-1A 05-5810 aircraft to test it. In April 1965, tests of the aircraft began. After the tests were completed, it was decided in 1968 to replace all Ishikawajima-Harima J3-IHI-3 engines with new Ishikawajima-Harima J3-IHI-7B engines with more power. The modernization included all Fuji T-1B aircraft (20 aircraft) and was completed in March 1970. The planes were also equipped with ejection seats at that time. The aircraft received a new designation T-1B-10 or T-1C. After modernization, the planes served until 2006, when they were withdrawn in favor of the Kawasaki T-4 aircraft.

Summary
The Fuji T-1B-10/C is a very interesting aircraft for Japan in War Thunder. It is an ideal CAS aircraft with a large variety of outboard armament, ideal for complementing Japanese CAS aircraft. The Fuji T-1 series aircraft are ideal for the game, because there are three models (T-1A, T-1B, T-1B-10/C) that can be ideally placed in the Tech Tree, Premium, and Squadron Aircraft Tree. I encourage you to discuss in the comments and to share your own knowledge on this subject.
Finally, I apologize for the linguistic and logical errors because unfortunately English is not my main language and I had to use google translator.

Dumb question but what exactly are the Browning M53-2? i can’t find any info about it.

I love light attack aircraft! Such a fun category. +1

Ooh, now this gets my automatic +1. It would be super neat to see! From what I recall, the same guy working on the XP-67 Moonbat is also doing a model of this!

I assume it’s a Finnish Colt M53-2

It looks great, but the plane seems rather limited both in CAS and anti-air role due to it’s limited armament. If only it had access to more bombs or rockets, it could have been a more viable CAS option.

I was looking for some information on this, and just noticed - did they never receive a gunsight? That would make using them in Simulator much harder.

Most planes later had their machine guns dismantled, so the sights were also dismantled

Likely a similar one to the F-86. Or the exact one. Would be cheaper and makes a lot of sense to do.

probably yes, the Japanese produced both planes at a similar time. I’ll try to look for a photo, maybe I’ll find a photo from the beginning of production

Ah, makes sense. I got very worried for a moment there XD
