Fighter jets are OP in air sim

Japanese F-16 with sparrows

It’s just as bs in arcade btw
MiG-29N is 13.0
MiG-29SMT is 13.7
premium flankers are 13.3
Su-27/33 are 13.3

The result of the fulcrum:

Did you say matchmaking?

It is predictable which team has the highest skill distribution at certain BRs

I dunno, I find the RDA actually a quite good little fighter. Yes, you have to be careful especially against the Floggers - but who doesn’t.

But I still dont see why they are the same BR

FGR2 renders the Hawk 200 RDA and Sea Harrier FRS1 totally pointless to play, because its stronger in every respect and the same BR, and trying to play either just feels like a totally uphill battle vs the Mig-23s

Move the FGR2/FG1 and all the Mig-23s to 11.7, and now the aircraft stuck at 11.3 without a point, can actually have a point again

Yeah.

And imagine an F-5E with no look-down radar, and no IFF, and only two rear-aspect IR-AAM’s (when at least the Swiss version should have all-aspect missiles…).

I think compression hits particularly hard around those BR’s…

Yeah it does, and some of it cant be fixed, but some of it, I think could be without much effort, but weve not had a proper BR change for SB in what a year?

Hello I am ju-288C player and I cannot reach airbases to bomb them before I get intercepted by tryhards. I think taht there should be a bomber only PVE sim mode for people like me who just want to grind or that the ju-288 should go down to 4.7 br.

NO
Its the opposite in my experience. Too many people PVE’ing in the lower brackets ruining games

Then maybe don’t go on the same path over n over? Maybe fly low? Maybe climb near the AF first? You also have full 360 view with the gunner view and easy lazy aim with the turrets. If you have issues with people intercepting you, it’s skill issue.

Just plan your routes like on ARB, it can’t be that hard

Spoiler

Also your title reminds me of this

Bad Content Creators have the community thinking Air Simulator is some kind of PVE game and that is not true… Not at all! In my opinion the moment you go trying to make it PVE and not PvPvE you just broke the rules of the game and set yourself up for failure! Sure you have better utilization of the maps, more game play and actual missions for your aircraft that do not fit into Air RB to actually play their correct roll in Air SIm, but it is by no means a PVE mode nor will it ever be!

Best advice I can offer you is our maps are huge and you should take advantage of that. Do not take direct paths and try to stay above the 5k feet level where most fighters are for bombing runs. Remember your gunners are still as trash as your damage model, so if you hear anything you need to be on your guns ready to defend yourself. Use your call out commands so your team knows where you are and when you switch to your gunners if there is an enemy near you they will look in that direction(Call out air to your team also). Do not limit yourself to only doing bombing runs because capturing that point and fighting other people is fun, whether you crash or win it is still fun and you will learn more. Chase down that recon plane, destroy the bombers, destroy ships when directed to do so and fight anyone who comes in to challenge you. All things Sim will earn you more rewards and teach you more in a week than you will learn in Air RB in a month of playing, but you have to be the one to learn it.

Edit: If you are in higher BR’s with missiles and radars you should stay low and keep your radar off until you need it. This will help keep people from using your radar to hunt you down.
I will also add that every BR bracket in Simulator has AI planes that Guard the Airfields. They may already be up, on the runway or taking off to intercept you, but they are absolutely there. So if you are BR’s 7.0 and down and you are below 12,000 feet this is not try hards, you are litterally getting cut down by AI and that is a you problem.
