I really don’t mind F-15J(M). It’s just a tiny annoyance.

They also fly in sim controls despite those being RB most of the time, because its slightly better. So its not saying much that the people who seek to eek out every single drop of performance and advantage they can get would use the plane that is 1% better.
Yes it can pull more AoA than the AMRAAM, which also makes it bleed speed faster than the AMRAAM. It still has quite a bit less range, especially if it pulls that high AoA.

It only pulls more AoA if it needs to. It does not mean its going to pull max AoA and bleed all of its speed.

F-15J(M) is an MTDP F-15J, the program was started in 2004, and by then the F-22 was under final preparation for full entry into service
