Is there any reason at all to take the F-15 CFT over drop tanks?
The Mirage gets 6 missiles, the 27SM gets 6, the gripen gets 6, the F-16C gets 6.
If Gaijin wants to keep it consistent why not just limit the 15C to 6 as well instead of 8, its not like its impossible to only mount 6 120s on the 15C.
Isn’t it 8 and 10 for the mirage and Su-27 respectively?

As far as I know, there isn’t many sources on the F-16 even testing the BOL pods, but the US definitely didn’t use them in service for the F-16, unlike for the F-15 and F-14. The F/A-18 was tested with them and should get them.
Dont think so, maps are not that big plus it cause additional drag and perminent extra weight.
Stick with Drop Tanks, you’ll be fine.

If you want to take the fuel of the drop tanks with significantly less drag than they have, yes. Though if you are going to jettison them immediately after making contact, no.
I’ll use them over externals for Sim
BOL pods are compatible with F-16C’s rails so test shouldnt be required.

Given this is the case too I just realized, this F-15C that we have must have the AN/APG-63(V)1 and not the AN/APG-63 PSP, as the first JHCMS installed on a F-15C occurred in 2005 and all the existing US F-15Cs were upgraded to AN/APG-63(V)1s by 2001.

Or they’ll just butcher it like they did with the F-15A, which should have TWS with the APG-63 PSP upgrade that it literally got at the same time as the countermeasures, yet it doesn’t have that radar upgrade in-game.

For me, gaijin not ready AN/APG-63(V)3 AESA radar 3 years because advanced & powerful radar and great BVR
Personal, I think F-15C MSIP II from USA tech tree showcase in devstream fitted with AN/APG-63(V)1 radar
But for F-15A, gaijin can change new radar to AN/APG-63 PSP radar ?
Its not a psp radar wither way. Its an underperforming pre-psp radar with missing radar modes and capabilities

how do we know its a APG 63? and not APG 70 on the c model
Uh, radar on F-15A it’s AN/APG-63 (pre-PSP) radar.
But gaijn can’t change radar for USAF F-15A ?
Chronologically its a franken plane.

Realistically wouldn’t be. The APG-70 was pulled off of C-models well before the upgrades this one has
