If you somehow feel bullied by the weakest 9.3 in the game, then you’re just simply bad. Half a dozen other players already explained how weak it is and how easy it is to counter.
It’s not overpowered, and honestly, it wasn’t much more than annoying even b4 the nerf. You just don’t know how to fight it and for some reason don’t wanna learn how to fight it either.
I would say it’s opposite, if you are not getting 4 kills minimum in a downtier with the F104 you have a severe skill issue and don’t know what you are doing. You can outrun any missile that’s not a 9G if fired outside of a 2KM range, and can win in the vertical against pretty much any other 9.3 or 9.7 jet easily, in a downtier it’s like killing ants.
Any plane in a full downtier, especially in the extremely compressed region of 8.0+, will perform well.
That said, I would far rather have an F-100D or, pretty much any other plane in a full downtier than have F-104A/C.

Not even an exaggeration.
You guys act like these games are 1 vs 1.
They aren’t.
Every time you dodge an attack, you lose energy, and another enemy will simply 3rd party you.
This area of the BR is so compressed it’s stupid.
Rearranging the deck-chairs won’t work anymore.
Gaijin needs to sit down and completely redo the BR into something like BR 1.0 - BR 18.0.
Not these tiny little .3 bumps we occasionally get at the very top end.

The buccaneer S.2 (no guns, 2 aim9b, subsonic),
Yak38 (0 flight performance, freest kill of all time if forced defensive)
Shenyang F-5 (mig17 with an afterburner and 2 R3S (the normal mig17 with an afterburner is 8.7…)
Q-5A (no air to air, its cannons suck and is barely supersonic)
All are way worse then the F104. Whilst the 104A/C is middle of the pack average for 9.3, its not the weakest by any stretch.

Planes like sabres/G91 are much bigger threat than F-104s.
The F-104 series has a turning radius of a small country. If you pitch/roll the plane there is not much it can do because its horrible manuverability. The planes I mentioned can get ‘dirty’ with you and keep dogfighting you to the death.
Maybe except you are on a 1v1 and he keeps running away at the end of a match then yes, there could be a problem. But there is more of a gameplay issue.

These are awful examples for what I talked about, and I mean awful. None of them have any relevance to “An F-104 who DOES NOT let you catch them” which would be very easy to do to your SMB2
